These ladders are as advertised, they seem strong and sturdy, and the stabalizer bar is a real plus for someone like me who is nervous of heights. Ive not tried it yet but there seems to be enough extention to reach the guttering. At 75 years old i think ill get someone in to perform that task. I would have no hesitation recommending these ladders. The delivery was speedy, they came 2 days earlier than expected order with confidence.

Appeared to be quiet sturdy and reliable, lightweight and easy to use. With it's stabilizer it is much safer as well. I haven't yet used it to it's full height, however I'll be confident to use it for it's maximum height.One change I'd prefer is that the safety bar should have a locking mechanism rather than the current (a little fiddly) screw type. Over time the threads can get damaged and the bolt can easily be lost as well.Quick delivery, prompt reply for my enquiry - thank you BPS.Overall I am happy with this ladder.

I am only giving this 4 stars because it took four days to arrive when ordered through Amazon, but if you go on the manufacturer's website they will deliver it the next day for the same money. Apart from that it is a great ladder - strong, not too heavy and it will fit into the back of an average estate car with the seats down (ladder is 8 feet long when closed). I have used it to work on the guttering of my two storey house, and it is plenty long enough to reach the roof. It is slightly bouncy, but not overly so, and only to be expected with a lightweight extension ladder. The wide bar with rubber grips at the bottom made the ladder feel extra sturdy when being used. Overall a great ladder for the price.

Splendid, sturdy set of ladders. I would have bought the next size up, but it would have been too tight a fit for my shed.This set was still ample for reaching high enough to clear the gutters on my chalet style house.Very safe and reassuring to use.

Thought I was buying a simple triple extension ladder, but ‘quelle surprise’ it also can be used as an extendable step ladder. Lighter than ladders I have been used to and well configured.

If you're not that good with heights - get these. They feel stable and strong with less of that unpleasant wobble (aided with the stabiliser bar). The ladders are fairly heavy, but it's a small sacrifice if you want to feel safe and stable when working at height. Price was great (less than half RRP) and they arrived on time. If you're looking for paper instructions I found mine tucked inside one of the rungs.
