My GE Energy Star 27.0 Cu. Ft. Fingerprint Resistant French-Door Refrigerator was not regulating its temperature. The bottom of the refrigerator would get a layer of ice while the top shelf was at about 50 degrees. I tried everything to solve the problem, meanwhile I was throwing money away as all my fruits and vegetables would freeze and meat would spoil. This component was my last bet before we spent hundreds on a handyman or thousands on a new fridge. It was easy to replace and it completely fixed the problem! My whole fridge is the same temperature now since I installed it a couple months ago.

I purchased this for a back up. I needed it on 6/29 (3 months later) and when it was installed, it did not work.Was supposed to have a warranty.
