Skin Care
Well, this is something completely different than anything I’ve ever tried using on my skin. I don’t want to be gross, and I’ll try to spare you any gory details. I’m 51 and still get acne just as bad, if not worse than, when I was an adolescent. My face always looks like I smeared oil all over my face, even in winter. (The only good thing about this is that I don’t have wrinkles!) I take good care of my skin, and don’t sleep with my makeup on. I’ve tried everything short of prescriptions to keep my face clear. So, when I saw this item, I wanted to try it out, since I was in the midst of having several large zits all vying for the title of “Mt. Vesuvius of the Week” on my face. But, since I know absolutely nothing about this type of treatment, I decided to wait until they were going back towards their dormant phase, just out of an abundance of caution. The hardest part, for me, anyway, is remembering that I have it and to use it. Second on that list is taking 3-4 minutes per area to do treatment. I don’t have time to use it on my entire face, so I have been hitting my problem areas. It seems to be helping those areas, and would probably help more if I were more diligent. My not so problem areas are becoming problematic but I don’t think it has anything to do with this device. As I mentioned, I don’t do my whole face. Hope this helps y’all!

Takes a long time
The idea is good and it's easy to use and does work but because you have to hold it in one spot at a time It takes such a long time to do your whole face. Seems better for spot treatment rather than whole face.

Not sure about it's effectiveness
Nice little tool, about the size of a lipstick tube. Unfortunately have not been able to leave it on as long or use it as consistently as instructed, my sensitive skin can't handle it. I did a test spot on my arm prior to first use, I noticed I had a sensitivity so I use it lightly. Can't tell if it has helped in the way it is supposed to or if the general passing of time is allowing my acne to heal, but hoping to find out over time.

Hot to the touch when in use
I wanted to like this but the instructions say to keep it on the desired treatment area for 3 minutes and it hurts! It gets HOT with the light pretty quickly and I didn't want to keep it on for the length of time. It should be built differently where the window into the light doesn't touch your skin since it gets hot.

Portable, Long Battery Life, and Bright Light
Love the portability nature of this light therapy device, especially that it has a USB-C charger. Most other light therapy devices are usually not bright enough but the UV light here is incredibly bright, enough to heat my skin up within a few seconds. I've been using it daily for 6-9 minutes twice a day for a week and the battery has yet to die on me.Highly recommend.
