my toddler is a runner, so i needed some help keeping her safe while fostering her independence. this harness is great - she can wear it comfortably and enjoy freedom of movement and i am able to keep her out if harm’s way. it is lightweight and easy to adjust and doesn’t seem to make her sweaty or cause irritation. my only issue is that it can be difficult to unfasten the buckle, but i can deal with that because i know it is secure and won’t pop open on its own. for reference, my girl is about 19 months old and wearing 2T clothes (27 lbs/33”)

Good price, comfortable on my escape artist of a child (even sitting in a stroller), easy to adjust size, cute, can handle a toddler temper tantrum, strong material (if I had to walk a dog with it you could).Only complaint really is where the leash connects with harness is a bit bulky and right underneath the back of the armpit.

We bought this harness for our granddaughter who is almost 18 months & is walking but can easily wander off if not controlled. Despite other reviews we were able to unfasten the locks and the straps were easy to use. My granddaughter loves it as it gives her a feeling of independence as she doesn’t want to hold anyone’s hand. She can walk comfortably and still be kept under control. When she gets tired she goes back in her push chair. She loves cats so the pink cat face at the front was cute and an added bonus. Would definitely recommend this.

Love this, pretty confusing at first. Just read the instructions carefully. The fabric isn’t very soft, but that’s my only complaint

This little harness makes walking with a toddler so much easier. I’m confident because she’s not running off, and she’s confident because she gets to walk instead of being held or sitting in a buggy. She hasn’t figured out how to remove it herself yet (she’s managed to figure out how her car seat un clicks), so I appreciate the way the harness was designed. It’s not uncomfortable. I even caught her trying to put it on her babydoll. Buy it!

Even though I said I'd never be one of those parents with my kids on leashes... I've found myself as one of those parents. It get it finally. Gives her more freedom to move around and allows me the control I need to try to keep her safe.When we bought this our daughter was just over a year old and she is petite to begin with. So most items that we for her age were too big for her. This one ended up fitting great and she loves her little bear. Sometimes she wants to wear it around the house.The placement of the hooks on the harness are in good spots in case I need to use the harness to "catch" her if she trips. Some other backpacks and harnesses seem like they wouldn't allow me to keep her from hitting her head if she fell backwards or forwards.The overall construction of the harness seems pretty solid as well. Initially it did take my wife and I a little bit of time to figure out (even with instructions) on how to adjust the harness. Once we figured that out we were good to go.

Update to my last review. My daughter was diagnosed with autism before the age of 3 and this harness is a life saver. She loves it. We have tried one of those strap only harnesses and she hated it, it was very uncomfortable for her no matter how many times I adjusted it. I actually contacted the company to see if they would make one for older children. I hate the wrist ones with that spiral elastic because my daughter would stretch the entire thing out and it's not like the regular leash from this product making that unsafe for her.
