Gets the job done
We chose this lift to avoid drilling into a new hot tub. Overall, it’s a great fit and helps remove the cover very easily. Yeah, it’s a bit flimsy and has some wobble to its movement, but for the price it’s a fair trade. I am not a fan of the foam it comes with to protect the cover. I plan to throw that away and use some pipe insulation instead. Would still buy again.

Avoid this at all costs
This hot tub cover lifter has the most confusing assembly instructions I’ve ever seen. It refers to screws and parts that are not in the kit. It has four images that are barely intelligible. Almost impossible to put together and it looks like it’s made a very cheap materials. Sent back for a refund.

Easy Installatation
I was more than impressed with the quality of this lifter for the price. Very affordable and does the trick to easily retract the hot tub cover. I chose this item over other options since it does not require drilling into the hot tub. All side panels are still fully accessible.

It should get the job done
The direction to assemble were very vague but if you have ever put some together from IKEA you'll be OK. It works as described but we've only used it once so far

Quality could be better
Works ok flexes so much you have to lift and drop from center of lift. Drilled holes started rusting

Very happy the spa cover lift works great
I am very happy with the spa cover lift. It is easy to use and built solid to last. It does provide some privacy on the side of the spa when the cover is in the upright position. Also, in the cover upright position the cover does not touch the ground.

Didn’t last past one use
I bought this a couple months ago but we waited until we cleaned & drained the hot tub to install. We have used it to open the hot tub once & it has already buckled at the lowest notch for the bolt. There are bolts that hold the cross bar together on the top that rests against the cover. They are denting in the cover. I wouldn’t recommend this. I can see it destroying the cover & we all know that those aren’t cheap! Waste of money on my part being that after using to open once, I already have to look for a new one.
