All features seem to work well
I bought a P6 light bulb camera 2 weeks ago but returned it because the motion tracking failed. I didn't give it a review because it appeared to be defective, though the day and night picture quality was excellent. I immediately returned it (no hassles at all) and bought a P4 2.4 gHz model. I installed it today, January 30, 2024, and am exceedingly pleased with it so far. The wi-fi reception on the P6 was poor in its first location. It dropped the signal intermittently, frequently registering less than 10% wi-fi and never got above 50%. The P4 is a totally different story. When placed in this same location it never registered less than 54% and was typically above 60%, It never dropped the signal. That location was about 30' from the router and the signal had to penetrate 3 walls and a flat screen TV. I'm pleased with how well the P4 did with wi-fi reception. It was also very easy to pair with the router.I set it up to detect human forms, with detection set to high and it immediately stopped tracking every car that passed in front of the house. Though it did pick them up(before changing the setting) at about 130' away, as did the P6. I performed a little test during the daylight. I walked out of our garage and out our driveway where it immediately began tracking me, then out onto the street and down the street about 150' from the camera, At which point it was no longer tracking me. I then turned back toward the house and while the camera recorded me, it didn't begin tracking until I was back within 110'. It continued to track me to the door of our shed, about 65' from the camera and up to the front door until I passed under the camera. I also recorded another walk around this evening in total darkness - no moon or stars. The camera picked me up as I exited the garage (with a little light from the opener) which was about 25' from the camera, but soon lost me. I began tracking me again when I returned to within 50' but lost me when I disappeared behind a post. It picked me up again when I was about 40 ft from the camera. The audio and sound detection are quite good. When standing at our front door, 4' from the camera, communication is clear with no garble or static. In fact I was still intelligible to my wife from a distance of about 25'.I haven't installed a micro disk yet so I don't know how well it records movement. As with the P6 unit, the P4's picture quality, both day and night is excellent. The feature allowing the camera to be positioned, both horizontally and vertically, works smoothly and well. As does the zoom feature - out to 4 X.Now the question is, will it still be working a year from now? If so, it was $60 well spent. I will up date this review later.February 2, 2024. I installed a microdisk yesterday and did a small test today. I walked out of my garage in the daylight, about 25' from the camera. It detected my movement and snapped a photo during my second step out of the garage, maybe 2 seconds into the cameras view. The camera began following me and videoing me (stored on the microdisk) 2-3 seconds later. It continued to video me while I walked around within range (about 30 seconds) and continued to save video for 20 seconds after I reentered the garage.I find their logic confusing. The initial detection message and photo shows up under "Messages", which makes sense. While it seems logical the accompanying video should be there too, that's not the case. The recorded video is found under "Features" in the "Playback" icon. There you will find each recording by scrolling back through a date and time timeline, which is nice. The date and time are also recorded in the video. Once I learned how to use these features, I find them to be very useful and useable.

Best of the Best for light bulb-based cameras, A++, cannot recommend enought, you will love it!
I love this light bulb camera, but based on the reviews I was expecting to return it.First off, there are over a dozen different manufacturers making these types of cameras, based off a camera mounted in a standard E27 sized light socket. And while they all look similar, once you get beyond aesthetics, there differences start to really separate the models/vendors.I can say without a doubt, as of the first week, the “Light Bulb Security Camera Outdoor Waterproof 2K” by SYMYNELEC is a great camera. I will update my review if the situation changes, but so far, it works better than expect. I regress my expectations were not high to begin with.Configuration took 30 seconds, and this is due to the fact that this was my 5th Tuya / Smartlife app camera. I had experience setting up the other cameras, so I did not even need the instructions, just got the QR code from the Smartlife app, scanned it with the camera, and I was off to the races. I did add a 128GB SD card for storage. To make configuration easier, they include a E27 light bulb socket to 2-prong wall-plug type adapter, so I did not need to use a small lamp to plug in the bulb to configure it. They also include a 5” extender, which I needed, in case the socket is too deep for the camera/bulb.I was able to quickly adjust the camera position from the Smartlife app and target my rear external door for observation. I turned on the other options such as motion tracking and motion detection, but based on where I have the camera aimed it should not move unless someone comes to my rear door. I’ve ordered a 2nd bulb-camera to watch the backyard, and this will be aimed toward the backyard and not a specific area. This should give me a better chance to test motion / human detection and tracking, but my initial tests proved these features work very well. The mounting was easy, just screw it in start watching the stream. I have already order another before I wrote this review, and like all my other Tuya based cameras, this works great with the app. I tested most of the features such as taking pictures and capturing video, unique to this camera from my others is the bright flood light you can turn on all the time or set it up to turn on when motion is detected. This worked well, and the only option I have yet to test is the “Shimmer” feature, not sure what that even does? There is also a “Siren” button I have not tested because I do not plan to use it. There is also a camera calibration option I have not tested, and again, none of my other cameras have this feature. Also, to note, there is a “Wide Dynamic Range” switch that is turned on, but I have not tested that yet. The “Display settings, which allows Brightness, Contrast, and Sharpness is also unique to this model. One cool feature that I found was the “Trigger Siren”, but I think this might just trigger the internal siren vs my Tuya home alarm siren?Very happy with this super easy to setup camera, and I have already bought another. If you are looking for this type of camera, you should not be unpleased with this vendor/maker’s offering.

Pretty good cameras and the tech questions are answered by emailing the company
I have a few Symynelec Cameras. They all work well except this one. For some reason the Motion Tracking won't work even after resetting the camera and trying all of the fixes the company emailed me to try.I can make it scan an area by using the phone app though.
