Does what it says on the tin, very easily assembled, four stars not sure how it will last so I may come back and raise it to five

After trying other more modern looking chairs I've gone back to the traditional. The seat's comfortable and the 'waterfall' front doesn't dig in the back of the leg; the lumbar support is great for a day working from home.

In fact I do like this chair, it is comfy enough and was fairly easy to assemble, though sadly arrived without any bolts. I have a tin of such things and was able to find replacements for the required four. (sawn shorter) Can't give anything that arrives incomplete more than 3*. It feels solid enough but time will tell. Good up/down adjustment and backrest angle adjustment. Uphostery is functional. The whole is tidy and functional.

I up graded from my old chair as it was getting tired. The chair looks great and moves around good but for some reason if I sit on it for any length of time I get bad bad pain, you need to test before you buy.

I am glad that there was an image of the the little slit as I thought that this was a fault with the chair. The image clearly explains that this is due to manufacturing to make building the chair easier - which it doesMaybe attached the piece of paper to the instructions as I didn't find this until I had fully unpacked the box.
