Massive improvement over older TP Link Deco system
My partner (and I some of the time) live in a concrete cinderblock annex attached to a family home. Getting internet out there is a real challenge - we'd been managing with an ethernet cable routed to the attached garage with an old, 2nd hand TP Link Deco system for a while but this had been proving unreliable and connectivity was pretty poor - this itself replaced a wifi repeater set up which was frankly worse than dial up internet. We can't get our primary unit into the actual annex so have to mesh "through" the walls which is the main reason for issues.Truthfully this system is probably overkill for what we need - but I wanted a tri-band, 6E capable system to maximise the chances of all of our devices connecting stably. It's worked. The set up is pretty easy - the app is very basic, much more so than the TP link App, but it does the job and the three units were set up within about 15 minutes. The pairing of new satellite units is much quicker than the TP link system as it has pairing buttons on the devices. Setting up a network SSID is easy enough.By default the system combines the 2.4ghz and 5ghz channels leaving the 6E channel separate which is fine for my uses. The property gets around a 300mbps connection from the ISP - to get to us this is routed through the ISP modem/router and then by a long ethernet cable. It's far from the best system but it is pretty much the best we can get.The TP Link system used to max out at about 60/70mbps and would be constantly dropping - plus some devices inexplicably got far lower than this. The Nova is consistently between 120mbps all the way up to 150mbps across all devices with download speeds on applications like Steam consistently double if not triple what we achieved over the Tenda device. Upload speeds through our ISP are max 20mpbs which we can achieve with with the units and ping is acceptable. The main improvement is the stability - having more bandwidths enabled I think gives a significant boost in stable connections across devices and I am moving whatever I can to the 6E band to try and spread out what is using what. 6E band isnt noticably faster but it is very stable for the devices connected to it.All in all, given the far from ideal scenario, I'm satisfied with the units as they've made the internet livable and viable for two gamers, one of whom works from home three from 5 days. I'm sure with faster connections and a more optimal set up this would unlock so much potential.

Not impressed
Only owned for 24 hours before returning.Awkward to setup with Virgin Media as many others have pointed out. Software and user interface not that polished. Didn't give me the wireless speeds they should of. Had connection issues and required resetting a few times. Also the nodes themselves are quite big compared to the eero nodes I am used to, probably about 3 times bigger.Have setup my original eero mesh system for time being again until I find another system, might just upgrade to newer eero system.

Super fast speeds with the AXE5700 mesh and router
The media could not be loaded. I recently upgraded to the Tenda Nova Mesh Wi-Fi 6E (MX21 Pro) and the Tenda Router of the same line, and I'm genuinely impressed with its performance. This system significantly minimises network congestion, reduces signal interference and increases stability. With this setup, I'm experiencing the fastest transmissions and ultra-low latency on the 6GHz band—perfect for a heavy streaming household. The Tenda Nova Mesh boasts tri-band capabilities and ensures that there no Wi-Fi dead zones in my house. The seamless roaming feature allows me to move around the house without losing connection, and I can even set different SSIDs or set up guest WiFi.The setup process was straightforward with the Tenda Wi-Fi APP, it has bad reviews on the IOS but I’ve had no issues with it.Upgrading to the Tenda Nova Mesh Wi-Fi 6E system has truly transformed my home networking and speeds, and If you're looking to enhance your home network, and your thinking about joining Brsk broadband don’t forget to use my referral code YLDX for a £75 Amazon voucher.

It’s fails as a mesh
When connected and ready to go, a singular node can give you great performance. I am on community fibre and I was able to get an outstanding performance with just ONE Node. But now I will discuss the main issue of this product. As a mesh it fails to do the thing it is programmed to do and that is connecting to its other nodes to create a mesh system. For some reason, when setting up this device with one node was easy enough. However, when it came to adding nodes to the network it struggled immensely. When you turn them on, they automatically go into a pairing mode (if not connected through WAN), so they can connect to the main node. This was MY problem! The device failed to be on this mode and I couldn’t get it to connect all together. The farthest I was able to achieve is to get two of the nodes working. They provided decent coverage and speed, but I need the 3rd node to work! It never ended up working and I decided to return the product. The only benefit I see of getting this system is for its Wi-Fi 6e capabilities, which most tri band meshes don’t have at this price. But if I were you, go for a ZenWifi or a Deco. They have an easy setup and decent speeds with community fibre (1gbps).Thank you for reading my review.

Great Wi-fi Mesh network but couldn't get it working in Router mode
Firstly set-up wasn't straight forward, I've been able to work around the issues I've had although I spent hours working on it.After many a reset, reboot and messing around with my Virgin Media HUB4 I've got it working to a level I am happy with. I could not get the Tenda Nova to detect my internet connection, try as I might but no. In the end I had to take the Virgin HUB4 out of modem mode and set it into Router mode disabling the wifi connectivity. Once I did that I could skip the internet connection wizard as part of the initial set-up and put the Tenda Nova MX21 in Access Point only mode.So I have my Virgin media Hub4 as the router and the Tenda as the wireless mesh network and from a wireless network perspective I couldn't be happier. Speed is excellent, the entire house has wireless access to the full Virgin internet connection, and with Wifi 6E some devices connect around the same as gigabit ethernet which is impressive. My house is an old 4 bed house, no plasterboard walls, all brick and single strength everywhere is very good indeed.
