One of the best resins on the market
I've been ride or die for Jdiction since they first started making epoxy resin and other resin products... Right up until they left me hanging. I was disappointed with my purchase this time because they usually include gloves, wooden stir sticks, and a plastic spatula. This time I got a single pair of gloves and one single little wooden stir stick and no plastic spatula. I will say that their square jugs are so much easier to store vs the typical round bottles from other brands. So that is another plus for me!I was actually scheduled to have a zoom meeting with their team to become an ambassador for them. Instead I had a ruptured brain aneurysm that required emergency brain surgery. I obviously missed our zoom meeting because of that. I contacted them as soon as I could (from my hospital bed - it was that important to me!) and let them know what happened and apologized profusely even though I hadn't done anything wrong. I begged to reschedule our zoom and then I never heard back from them ever again.Since then I've been using and working with other brands and only buy Jdiction resin when they have deals too good to pass up and I have a lot of pieces to get out. I really do love their resin SO much! But I prefer to find a brand that works for me and use my business and products to promote that one brand to also help them.TLDR- Their epoxy resin is great quality and doesn't yellow like others. I can't smell any odor from it and there's not usually any bubbles when my product is finished. I also have several of their leveling boards which I also use daily. They are fabulous as well. I also use their UV resins. They have different viscosities that will work for any project. Those also cure solid and clear. I love their products, I just don't love how they handled things with me and then dropped me when I was literally fighting for my life. Until then we had such a great relaxing:(

Affordable and reliable
This resin is my go to for the majority of projects that I make. It has been a very reliable, easy-to-use product. I have it on auto ship and that is extremely convenient. I don't have to run out because it's shipped right to my door. The cure time is normal and it is easy to clean up if it gets spilled. It has good uv protection and is really durable. I've dropped projects on the floor without them breaking. (I wouldn't suggest throwing it on concrete)I definitely would recommend this resin to anyone who is interested in resin projects.

It's thicker than I'm used to
The media could not be loaded. I've wanted to try this resin out for some time because Steve McDonald speaks highly of it. My verdict is still out on it as it's a thicker resin than I'm used to using. I've worked with epoxy resin for about 5 years and it's always been a thinner resin. I wouldn't say low viscosity, but definitely not as viscous as this. I would say this is probably a medium viscosity resin. They claim low odor and no VOCs. I have a air purifier that detect VOCs and it never came on while using this resin. In fact, it will kick on anytime I spray 99% isopropyl alcohol, but it didn't while I was using this resin. As far as the low odor claim I can attest to this as well. My husband did say he could smell a little chemical smell. However, as the family asthmatic, I didn't detect a "chemical" smell, but more a fragrance.I also noticed that both part A and part B are tinted blue. I imagine that's where the 3X SUPER YELLOW RESISTANT comes into play. Additionally, both parts seemed the same consistency. I'm used to one part being thinner than the other, but that wasn't the case here.I used this resin two times now and the first time I used this resin I did absolutely nothing to prevent the bubbles. I wanted to confirm or deny their claim of SELF-DEGASSING. Both times it did a pretty good job of releasing the bubbles despite how thick the resin appeared to be. They do say to use a heat gun about 8 inches from the mold and I found that because of how thick the resin is that they bubbles would not pop with the use of the heat gun. I'll have to try it again because I don't know if the pot time had been reached and maybe that's why they weren't popping. I had to use a pin to grab the ones that had floated up, but we're not popping on their own.The second time I used it I did all my normal routine: mixing slow, put it in my airless bubble remover, and used alcohol to pop any surface bubbles. One thing I did not like when doing that is that the alcohol left a film on top of the resin. I've never had my regular epoxy resin do that before, but I know other crafters have complained of their resin doing the same. I never knew what they were talking about as I've never had it happen until now. Despite that, my castings did come out very shiny (when the molds were shiny).I don't know if their pot time is quite 40 minutes as mine started to thicken around the 25-30 minute mark despite having the temperature at 73 in the house.Other observations: I loved the cute, mini jug sizes. They also have plug stoppers on the inside of the bottle which I was glad to see.I didn't see a DEMOLD time in their instructions or the box, but it did say 24H CURING time. I attempted to take out my second batch within several hours and they unmolded without issues, but still soft. Unfortunately, I laid them down on an unclean surface to finish curing and that's what you see on the back of some of my castings. (The video above shows the bubbles rising to the top and then the end result.)Overall, I do like their mission statement and the glassy, shiny finish that I got from this resin. I want to work with it more and keep better timing to see if the 30-40 minute work time is accurate. I know temperature and humidity play a big part with that, but as I stated I usually keep it around 73F with humidity around 45-50%.

Best I've Tried
When I first got into resin I immediately had issues. I tried the Janchun resin first as, at the time, it had great reviews. However, I flash cured that twice WAY too easily and couldn't get it to harden correctly. Tried Famowood as it was a gift and also recommended. It was okay but too many bubbles and someyimes didn't harden correctly. Also tried Craft Resin and though it was nice, this was better. This started working wonderfully right off the bat. Bubbles disappeared, hardened right up, and crystal clear (not that I do many clear items). Plus it's a great value. A lot of the good resins I've seen are over $100 for a gallon whereas here you get over a gallon for just $100. I've had only slight issues and that's just user error. Either not getting the bubbles stuck in my mold or using too much colorants for it to cure correctly. This is definitely my go to for all the projects I work on.
