great build up to what will inevitably be an exciting finale.
The movie was excellent. I still think Fallout is the best Mission Impossible movie thus far. This one did drag at times a bit, but overall it was still a great thrill ride. I loved the cliffhanger at the end leading to the inevitable end to this series.

Computers...am I right?
This movie was great. It had the good MI/Bond elements of a thriller, continuity but not mandated and had the added understones of "crazy computers do stuff". To define do or stuff would be a spoiler so enjoy.I thought this was part 1 (apparently it was pitched that way and they backed out) and specifically they attempted it not to be a cliffhanger. In that last bit I do not feel they succeeded. This movie also had the "it's free and super advertised, oh wait the next part is releasing soon" vibe.Neither of those facts detracted from 5* but they were noted.

The best one
Pretty good movie!High action, great stunts. The movie has a very good plot and is pretty suspenseful at times.Definitely the best one of the series.I recommend getting all of them. Especially if you are building a collection. The first 2 movies are a pretty weak. My opinion. But, they get better after that. I recommend this!

An Interesting Twist
Just how many more movies can you milk out of the old television show? Seems like still two more. This one and the sequel. We keep running out of villians. The Cold War is over. We can deal with just so many terrorist plots to kill people - a lot of people. We can deal with so many death-crazed people in power. But this one creates a new enemy. We will probably be seeing Hollywood use this villian in other areas and films. The original television series was based on a book, The Art of the Con. There was always this flaw in the villian that a good con artist could explout. The movies follow this format. But now you have a villan that has no flaws. This villian has no emotions you can con or exploit. It is going to be interesting to see their solution in the next film.It was an action film, probably one of the most action films around. But they did not exhaust the audience with the action. (It did get a bit tedious and I found myself wanting them not to stretch out the danger in some scenes to where the escape just seemed to last too long or take forever to get to.) When the action feels more like filler than moving the plot forward is dangerous in these kinds of films. But the plot was good and they kept coming back to it n the middle of the action. There were a few good surprises. Some of the stunts were obviously planned before the movie and the movie was written around the stunts. It was strange that in the first Mission Impossible movies Tom did things that looked dangerous, but had been controlled to make them safe. In this film (as noted in the specials) all the stunts were telling us how dangerous they really were and how good Tom was to do these for real and without stunt men. It was feeling like Tom might be planning to bow out of the franchise with this one and he wanted to do all these things for real. The villian is one of the best, and you really cannot see how you are going to be able to defeat it. I suspect that when we get to the sequel we will have a major surprise ending and I hope they do it right and no undo the first movie. I have a few theories. It is dangerous to build up a good villian and make it too good, and then you have to make it less good to defeat it. I hope the writers are up to this challenge. For fun and excitement, this one does deliver, and they have managed to keep the franchise interesting.

Action-Packed and Thoughtful – A Must-Watch in 4K! 💥🎬
**Title:** Action-Packed and Thoughtful – A Must-Watch in 4K! 💥🎬**Rating:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐As a long-time **fan of the Mission: Impossible franchise**, *Dead Reckoning Part 1* absolutely delivered! The **4K version is stunning**, with crisp visuals and incredible sound that make every intense moment pop. What really sets this film apart—like others in the series—is **Tom Cruise doing his own stunts**. It adds a whole new level of realism and excitement, especially with the **top-tier camera work** that emphasizes real action over CGI. It’s immersive and thrilling in a way few action movies pull off anymore.**Haley Atwell** was a fantastic addition to the cast—she brought depth and energy to her role, and I hope to see more of her in the next installment. The story also gave us a deeper look into how these operatives came to be. Rather than elite agents who simply rose through the ranks, we learn they were **misfits given a second chance**—a twist I really appreciated. (And yes, you could say it’s the journey to becoming a “**Maverick**”-type hero… see what I did there?) 😄The film’s **message of selflessness and putting others before yourself** hit home. It’s a theme we could all learn from, especially in today’s world.I **highly recommend** this movie to fans of the genre, and I’m already **anxious to see Part 2**. Mission accomplished! 👏🔥
