Spin Master 4D Build Imperial Star Destroyer 278pc Model Kit, Star Wars Gifts & Decor, Ages 12+

I was looking for an ISD for some time. I thought about the Lego but that is STUPID expensive. It was the price and the size of this 4D model that cought my eye. Figured couldn't go wrong with it so I gave it a chance. I watched the utube videos and it look good.So for mine I bought some glue cause i didn't like the glue it comes with. And I glued most everything. Figuring it will ridgidize the kit. And it did. I spent just under 12 hrs building it in about a week and a half. It was ALOT of fun. No real difficulty in any phase of building. But if I had to pick the hardest part, it would be the 2 shield generators.Now the bad. I have since ordered 5 other kits. Dam you 4D! The Imperial light cruiser, Standard tie fighter, Vader's tie advanced, Tie interceptor, T65 Xwing.Overall these kits are truly amazing. Excellent detail. Great size (although I wish the capital ships where to scale to each other). And a GREAT time building it. I'd love to see some other genre. Star trek. Battlestar. Babylon 5. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE KITS

This may be my favorite Star Wars model ever. I've always wanted a star destroyer model but they've been either too small or too expensive. This model looks great and is bigger than you'd think.The construction can be challenging at times so here are some tips:- Use a medium sized flathead screwdriver to pop out the tab holes and make the holes bigger when necessary by inserting the screwdriver and rocking it back and forth.- Use the glue and buy more glue because what is provided won't be enough. I had some puzzle glue that I used after the supplied glue ran out. The glue is shinier than the model so if that will annoy you, try to hide the glue beneath the pieces.- The construction of the engines and the spheres on the tower can be frustrating. You may need a rubber band to hold things in place while glue is drying.- Be careful removing the pieces from the sheets. I tore a piece near the end when I wasn't paying enough attention.- I switched the visible side of the bay on the bottom from what the instructions said in order to hide the colored dots used to match pieces.Buy this model! You won't regret it.

You have to get all of these. Quality is superior. Easy. Can do with kids. No glue. Seriously, these are great. Yeah, and i'm not trying a real puzzle. This is not.

It was a good sturdy build but if a cardboard piece gets bent it is really difficult to attach other pieces. The design can be build better to fit but really admire the detail of the destroyer and how fun it is to build with kids.

Great for a paper product very big good and solid with a little glue I suggest buying different glue the stuff they put in there takes too long to set up and the tape is crap doesn't stick to anything

Remarkable puzzle with great detail and quality pieces. The price is nothing short of amazing for what you get. Highly recommended.

This is just a super cool paper model. It’s very large and the scale is perfect. Assembly can be a bit tricky just pay attention and go slow.
