Powerful and Fun
Had a ball engraving with my old 5w laser but always wanted to be able to cut THROUGH thicker material. The 40w power of this laser can certainly do that - I've easily cut Christmas ornaments out of 1/4" thick maple and walnut, and other projects (gear teeth for a kinetic sculpture) out of 1/2" Baltic plywood with no problems at all (other than the*cough, cough* smoke! Works great with Lightburn software. Easy to assemble from the sturdy parts and I had it working in well under an hour. Air assist is quiet and powerful with little vibration.

Great Machine!
We got this yesterday so we haven't been able to do a lot with it but, it's so much better than our old laser. The lines are cleaner, the speed is much faster and set up was a breeze. I would recommend this to anyone!

I thought I would give it a shot
So the reviews were overall positive, but i figured I would give it a try. I had completed 5 projects, probably about 3 hours worth of engraving/cutting and it started having issues. I looked up the problem online and its a common problem with no resolve. For the 3 hours that it did work, it worked great.

It cuts but trying to figure out how to use it was a mission.

Great product and easy to use
I have a Creality 3d printer which is rock solid so I wanted to try this out, if you have used a 3d printer you wont have any issues as this is easier (I think) As per Creality standards this is built very nice, its easy to put together and use. I like how this has a laser shield so no need to wear glasses. Use the light burn software (or an alternative) and your off and running. check out the Creality site and watch the operation/instruction video for your falcon engraver. I recommend this as it is another quality product from Creality.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality and works fantastic
I was concerned about getting into this, but I was so surprised at the excellent instructions, including the video. Everything was there to get started. The software is easy to learn and use. All the parts seem to be well made to last. I printed from the sample file and was impressed. Please read the instructions and heed all warnings. Lots of fun and satisfying projects to come.
