Excellent value. The checkered bars are no slip. I used Amazon item number DKVIP-021 1/4 inch masonry drills. Worked perfectly drilling through very old bathroom tile and then my second order I drilled into concrete basement walls. Remember to use an awl or sharp nail to make a little nick in the ceramic tile before drilling otherwise the drill will "skate" all over the tile and make a mess. The plastic anchors that are included worked very well. The same with the screws that were included. I was very pleased with the results. The handles are very very secure. So pleased that I ordered a second time.

I bought these bars because they're 16" on center, so both sides can be fastened into studs. Their chrome finish pairs nicely with the chrome on the bath hardware.I marked the stud positions and put the top holes centered on the studs and the two lower holes angled inward towards the studs, so all screws were firmly attached. I used 3" screws, not the anchors and screws that were included with the bars. The round brackets for the bars, plus the tile, tile backer board, and drywall had a total thickness of over 1.5", so I wanted at least another 1.5" of penetration.The hardest part of the project was locating the stud positions behind the tile and drilling the holes through the tile.I fully caulked all holes and the area behind the bar brackets with silicone caulking to prevent any water issues.With this install method, these bars are extremely sturdy. I think they could be used for gymnastics. Seriously.Nice bars at a great price. Super sturdy if fastened properly. I would not recommend using the anchors or small screws that were included.

These are good quality and the ridges allows for a solid grip. I got the 2 pack thinking I would use only one. After that was installed inside the tub closure I realized I needed another for exiting the tub enclosure. The second one was the perfect matching solution.
