Fried rice
It has a flat bottom so it’s good to use on stove tops. It took sometime to get used to the handle but I feel like it’s better compared to the cheap ones, although it can get hot like any debuyer pans. The quality is much better compared to other brands like made-in, it holds the seasoning much better.

TRASH!
This is a terrible purchase! Used this ONE time. It didn't sit flat, should have been the first red flag. The seasoning chips and peels off and gets into your food. Unfortunately I waited too long to try it out and no longer have an option to return. Extremely disappointed after one use it was trash.

Amazing Blue Carbon Steel Wok
I absolutely love this pan. I looked at many options including the all-around pan from DeBuyer and the Well-Made. As I have other good pans for the extra functions those are supposed to give you and what I really wanted was a real first-class wok, the DeBuyer Blue Carbon was my choice. It has the good heavy construction you want in a real wok and the small bottom surface that allows you to really be able to use the sides properly. It needs the care due to a good carbon steel item-let cool before putting wash water in, dry throughly after and every few uses, wipe with a bit of oil to protect the steel (I use peanut as it's the best for that high heat but there are other choices). With this proper care, this should be a life-time purchase, well worth it!

Handle not welded correctly
The product is great but mine have a defect. The handle is not welded straight.

Best wok so far
This wok is even better than Zhen San Huan Wok I bought with 300$It is very easy to season, since it have a blue layer already. And it almost entirely non sticking but since it is carbon steel instead of iron, it is much easier to maintain than the Zhen San Huan Wok.Used it for a couple days. So far I think it is the best. Let see how long the blue layer last, and if lost can I easily reseason

Seems good
Seasoned this 3 times in the oven and it basically turned pitch black. No food has stuck to it yet. Using this on induction stove top no problems.

$70 is too expensive for a poor quality wok.
I’ve used this wok 3 times. When it is not in use, it’s stored in a moisture free environment. I am not sure how the rust and discoloration occurred. I would not recommend purchasing this wok.

BUY this Wok...Period!
First, it's made in France where they know a great deal about making quality pots & pans. Second, it's carbon steel which...when seasoned... is better than cast iron, stainless, or nonstick. Third, it is lighter than their Mineral B series on purpose so that it is easier to maneuver...still on the heavy side though; lighter than cast iron. Built like a tank...you'll have it for a lifetime. Works so great when stirfrying.
