Great for any job
Product worked like a charm! I had previously ordered a similar product for my Chevy Cruze, and it did not contain the correct cap for the job. With the large number of selections in this kit, I was able to find the coolant leak, and fix it. Very reasonably priced, and saved me a trip to the mechanic shop.

If you own a car and know your way around a garage you probably need this kit!
My husband is pretty passionate about cars and motors. He can pretty much diagnose and fix anything however the proper tools make that task so much easier. Surprisingly enough he did not have a radiator pressure tester in his cave aka the garage which is what prompted us to do some research and purchase this kit. For me presentation means alot and my first impression of this kit is they hit it out of the park. The case seems to be sturdy and durable and has a place for each piece so nothing is lost and everything is easily accessible. My husband, who has every brand of tool from the top of the line all the way down to the dollar store brand, was quite impressed with this set. He opened it and examined each piece and searched the case like a boy on Christmas morning. Lol I have been having issues with my car and the check engine light coming on. This kit is going to save me a trip to the mechanic and probably a few hundred dollars. The neat thing is it isnt car specific, they include a bunch of different sized caps to use on all different makes of vehicles. Also include is a sheet inside telling you what cap should work for what make of car. My husband was happy to see this also vacuums to get out any air bubbles in the lines. All in all this an awesome kit for under $100, you really cant go wrong. This is the second item we have got from this brand and we are really happy with the quality. So far we would recommend and will continue to purchase this brand!

Kit was easy to use and saved me $300.
I accidentally put the wrong coolant in my 2014 VW Passat. To get it flushed and refiled was going to be a little over $300. This kit saved me a lot of money. The kit is outstanding and is easy to use it features multiple attachments for multiple makes and models. If you want to save money, get this kit.

THIS DOES NOT WORK ON NEW CARS
I work at a Ford dealership, so I work on basically the same systems all the time.I bought this for the occasional coolant test, for just one brand. The Ford caps do not fit, and/or are not threaded correctly they either slide over the threads, or just barely catch. Which doesn't work when you need to pressurize the systemWe have a shop adapter, so I tried the traditional cap. That one leaked at 20 psi.Returning, and do not recommend. I guess I'm spending the exorbitant amount that Snap On wants.*Edit: turns out the list of cars on this ends at 2012.

Works well, and fits 2004 and 2018 Subaru Foresters
This radiator test kit is decent quality and fits my 2004 and 2018 Subaru Foresters. However, the instructions are woefully inadequate so you'll have to figure out on your own what all the parts are for, how they fit together, how to use them. Also, when you do a leak-down test keep in mind the device itself is not perfectly sealed and has its own leak-down rate of about 1 psi every 2 minutes (which will probably vary unit to unit). Keep that in mind if you're testing for tiny pinhole leaks.Update: the company saw this review and offered to refund my purchase or send me an updated replacement kit. I got the updated kit and they did indeed fix the radiator cap connectors that weren't sized properly in my original kit. Now they fit, and the entire kit is usable. And I have a few back-up parts from the original kit.5 stars now for great customer service and a kit that is fully functional.

Completeness of kit is great... Greatness of kit is not so much!
I have a few vehicles that I needed to check for coolant leaks as well as vacuum test, and rather than do the "loan a tool" from my local auto parts store over and over (pain driving back and forth)I thought I would just buy one so I would have it for the future. This one had a lot of good reviews, and for the most part I can agree with their points. Variety of pieces is extensive, for foreign, domestic, european, etc. there are tons of adapters to select from... and if you can't find something that fits, there are a couple of generic cone plugs to seat into openings that should work. The case it comes in is nice and the gauge is large and easy to read. Price is also very reasonable for what you get... and the usability is (for the most part) easy and functional.However... I have tried two adapters so far and BOTH have been leaking where the quick connect goes through the plastic cap. I have had to add o-rings to the quick connectors to get the leaks to stop (could have used teflon tape as well I suppose), and, on one of the adapters I have had to crank down exceptionally hard ( to the point I was concerned the degas bottle neck was going to break) in order to get the gasket to fully seal so I wouldn't loose pressure.Also... the pump takes forever to pressurize the system as you frantically move the piston back and forth to try to build pressure. I plan on modifying this to incorporate a T fitting with a schrader valve so I can pump the system up with a compressor quickly to approximate pressure and then use the pump to finish off the pressurization more accurately and slowly so as to not over pressurize.So... loss of a star for the small pump and another star for the lack seal on the two adapters I have tried so far, as well as the gasket leaking.
