Ideal Bluetooth earphones for me
I have bought several sets of Bluetooth earphones in the last few years and I have been disappointed with them all. The "neckband" type is great during the Summer but not so good when wearing a coat and scarf. Other sets have heavy earpieces that are constantly trying to escape from your ears. Some fit well but the music quality isn't very good. What do I like about the Freedoms? They are very light and comfortable and a joy to wear. The sound quality is pretty good especially if you use the app and download new profiles to suit your music preferences. This is a great way of allowing you to tune the earphones to your preference and you can easily swap profiles if listening to different types of music. Battery management is excellent. Some of the reviews I had read complained about the short battery life (approximately 4 hours). This has not been a problem for me and the software helps you manage the battery life better than any other earphones I have used. Every time I turn them on, it tells me the battery level. I can check the battery at any time using a volume button or the app. When the battery drops to 20%, it warns you. When it is down to 10% it asks you to recharge. This gives me at least half an hour of use before the battery gives out. In emergencies, you can connect part of the charger to give you an extra 4 hours. This is so much better than earphones that give you little warning, then nag you constantly to recharge, before dying a couple of minutes later. At £35, these are a steal.Downsides? The music quality isn't perfect. I have better wired earphones, but there are always compromises in quality when using Bluetooth. Updating the firmware was a little fiddly, but apart from that, little to complain about. If I lost these, I would immediately go and buy another pair, and I haven't said that about any of my previous purchases.

poor Quality for the price
I bought these for myself as I new the brand was good and had seen people talk about the version up. the reputation dose not transfer over to these. the sound quality is good and the app is pointless in features but okay to use. the real issues come to the battery life and fit of the buds themselves. the battery life is maybe 4 hours at max but the charger/ battery is gives maybe 2 hours extra charge if you remember to bring it with you. the fit is just no right as the pod containing the battery, controls and mic is to high up the wire and weighs down one ear. the ear tips are also a proprietary design that after some time become loose and I have had them fall off in my ear every time for the last couple months. poor design from a big brand

Good customer support, good quality and sound, hard to adjust for run
I got the first headphones and I was impressed with the quality of sound. After two months of use the item started to fail but I got a good customer service from Jaybird and they send me the replacements. The life battery is in general good and they are very light to run with. They come with many adaptors for different ear sizes and adaptors to attach better to ears. The system to fit is not the best in my opinion is kind of complicated use them without a buff, bandana or hat. Mic works fine and the synchronization process is very easy.I'm not longer using the jaybird app but it can be useful for people who doesn't have preferred music to run. In general it's a good idea. Happy with the purchase and not giving 5 stars only because the fit method.

OKish but Constant Bluetooth Dropouts
I don’t really ever feel strongly enough about a product to write a review but given that Jaybird are really trying to hard to pitch themselves to runners (esp if you’re an instagram user) I wanted to share my experiences with these.Overall, they sound ok for the price point. Podcasts and music come through ok, the fit is ok if a little fiddly. The tigening system for the cord is frustrating and has to be redone each time you use them. The remote is a bigger problem, if it hangs down it bounces round and if it’s behind your ear and the headphones are not tight it will also bounce. While the extra clip on battery is a nice idea in practice it makes the remote too heavy to be comfortable (and I don’t have a small head or ears).Again this is the cheaper end of the market (I generally kill running headphones in <9 months through sweat and rain) but they let in a lot of noise. Which is double edge sword, go on roads when I’m listening for cars but bad because alongside busier roads at a comfortable volume road noise can easily overwhelm the sound of the headphones. The real problem though is constant Bluetooth dropouts, I use an iPhone X. They work fine for around 20 mins then they start to disconnect and you have to turn them on and off to get them reconnect. Each time they will only stay connected for 5 - 10 minutes tops, then after this they just refuse to connect. How do I know it’s the headphones and not phone? I have other Bluetooth headphones and speakers that do not have this problem.I tried a software update on the headphones but I”m on the latest firmware.Overall I’d say spend a bit more and look elsewhere and generally weary of instagram “influencers” pushing stuff.

The best sound quality ever
I had several headphones previously of different brands but this is the best that I have ever used. The built is of very high quality. It is light and fits perfectly in my ear. I use it mostly for running and in the gym. I ran for about 7 km and it did not fall from my ear during the whole distance. The sound quality is amazing and the bass is excellent. The battery life is only 4 hours but you can add 4 hours when you attach the other battery. Although this is useful but I felt it heavy and difficult to attach so I am happy with 4 hours. I strongly recommend this headphones if you are looking for excellent sound and quality and if the batttry life is of less concern to you.
