Kobo stylus
I recently purchased the kobo libra colour ereader and was hesitant to order the kobo stylus, mainly due to cost. However I decided to take a chance and am glad I did. Upon purchasing delivery was stated to take approx 4 days, however it arrived the next day much to my surprise! The performance of the stylus is fantastic, it is so easy to use, you just charge using a USB c (which isn't included) and then use a pencil on your ereader. It's comfortable to hold and I have found it very accurate when writing notebooks on my kobo. Overall, whilst it is pricey, it is well worth it if you have a compatible product.

Nice enough for an e-ink pen
Bit tappy to write with and wish it had a more pleasant grip, feels a bit like a biro. Otherwise, it's a really nice pen for my e-ink reader, has an erase end so you don't have to switch brush nibs in the e-ink controls, and magnetizes to the side of the device.Comes with a few spare nibs (no idea where they have already ended up somewhere in the house)You have to recharge it, but I've had it over a month on a single charge and not yet had to do that.

Kobo stylus 2
I bought this to ho with my new Kobo colour. Although the pen does what it says I think it is a tad expensive. Especially at this time when the cost of living is do high. I have seen people in a kobo group that I am in asking for recommendations for cheaper versions. Personally if I knew they sold cheaper versions that is what I would hdve bought.

Great, finally I can write on epubs directly.
The media could not be loaded. The product is very easy to use, I so far have tried on pdfs and epubs. So here are some informations I can share:1 the Kindle Scribe pen doesn’t work on Kobo Sage, and Kobo Stylus 2 doesn’t work on Kindle Scribe either.2 Kobo Stylus 2 works on both pdf and epub files.Just in case anyone is wondering.I have to say I love both Kindle and Kobo, they’re both great in different ways.

Almost unusable due to common writing issue
I have been using this pen on the Kobo Libra colour for about a week and the pen is good when it works but there are serious issues kobo need to address. The pen has an issue where it will sometimes write while it is still some distance from the ereader (probably a few cm), as you can imagine this makes your handwriting incredibly messy as it still writes while you are moving between letters. Looking online this issue is common and I'd imagine it has something to do with Kobo's software as the pen does work well maybe 70% of the time. Unfortunately this makes the pen almost unusable a lot of the time due to the frustration it can cause. It seems to happen after the screen has refreshed, so either after you've changed pages or rubbed something out and then you go to start writing again. To add to this I have a few personal gripes with the product; for a start the product feels quite cheaply made and the eraser and highlight button rattle ever so slightly when you move it. This would be fine if it wasn't so expensive...The placement of the highlighter button also leaves much to be desired too as I often find myself pressing it by accident while writing due to it being exactly where a lot of people would place their fingers to hold the pen instead of it being out of the way a little more.I bought this mainly because I love reading and have ADHD. I love to be able to make annotations and notes while I read and if my mind goes off on a tangent it's nice to be able to jot my thoughts down on the same device. Unfortunately due to the writing issue and the placement of the highlighter button, the frequency of the pen writing nonsense when I'm not touching the paper or the highlighter leaving a blob on the screen, can distract me and ruin my train of thought before I've written it down. The highlighter issue I can live with because that's probably just the way I hold a pen but the writing issue is inexcusable and shouldn't be a problem this common on a pen this expensive.Overall I would not recommend this product at all in its current state. However this is a shame because I do love the kobo Libra colour and I like having a pen to annotate. On the other hand I am using the pen less and less and it frustrates me to no end with this writing issue. If you have ADHD I would say the issues this pen causes will leave you way too frustrated to use it properly, it's incredibly hard to keep focused on writing your thoughts down while you fight your pen and have to constantly scrub errors that aren't from your actual handwriting. I can only hope this is a software issue that can be rectified swiftly; if that is the case I will amend my review at that time to reflect the current state.I'd also say I find it strange how the reviews on this item are so positive when it took very little effort for me to find many people online who have had the same issue persistently and it doesn't seem to be able to be resolved through technical support at the moment. And yes I have done all the basic troubleshooting like turning things off and on, resetting and changing nibs. I believe the issue must be to do with software instead of hardware.
