These books are brilliant at installing confidence in kids, but only if you get the ones that are at their level, don’t be tempted to go up because of the age on the front.For some questions I had to sit down and explain how to work things out, in the maths and verbal reasoning the answers booklet helps with that too.My only slight complaint is that the non verbal reasoning answer booklet does not explain the answers at all. Sometimes the difference is so hard to spot, we except that we got the wrong answers but have no clue as to why.

These books are aimed at 9-10 year olds who want to practice 11+ questions but might not be at the stage to tackle the full 11+ books. The questions give the younger child a route into the full papers but with questions aimed at their age and school curriculum. I found these books have a good foundation of how the main 11+ books will be worded and a good basis to practice the questions.They all have easy to understand answer booklets that explain the answers so the child's can learn if they have made a mistake.

I highly recommend the bond books. They are great for consolidating learning. It also teaches children to think more laterally by applying concepts that they have learned at school.The attached answer booklet is great for checking progress and ensuring that the correct method/methods have been applied.

Have not started to use but no doubt on Bond. One thing standing out is the thoughtful design. The answer pages are in the middle of the books,. It makes so much easier to remove them from the book w/o any damage. First time to see this as I have bought so many other test materials.
