I bought this extra charger for my new HP Envy laptop. The extra length is convenient, and it works just as well as the original. Now I can keep the original (short cord) charger at my desk, while using this second charger for other locations. I don't miss crawling around under my desk to access the electrical outlet every time I want to work on my laptop!

This destroyed my laptop and phone on the same day. I work from home so its not uncommon for me to put the charger in before the laptop is battery is low. The day it happened I plugged in my laptop at 70%. I thought my laptop was updating and that's why the screen went black. Soon after I got the low battery notification on my phone. I moved the charger from the laptop to my phone, and it immediately shut off... Quickly started to panic when I realized neither device would be turning back on. Thankfully I had Insurance on both. The motherboard had to be replaced on the laptop. On the phone, the battery exploded. Replacing the battery did not solve the issue. It probably also affected the motherboard as well. This was an Xtra charger for me. I did not have any issues up until this point, and had been using it for nearly a year. I though the only possible outcome would've been that it would stop working. I was very wrong. There is zero visible damage on the charger itself, and the charger was not used daily. I truly don't understand what went wrong. Seeing that this has happened before to others is disturbing. This should have been recalled.

Even though this had high rankings every time I plug it into my laptop I get an HP notification that it is not charging my laptop at 100% and it doesn’t fit in the plug-in very well

It has held up with no charging issues. Accept for the HP notice that appears every time it is used. It basically states it is not original HP charger equipment. "Yeah, I know." As long as it does what it is designed to do without negatively impacting my computer electronics, I have little concern about the suggestion that I use OEM equipment instead. I just ignore it.

Good replacement.

I purchased this adapter in April 2025 for my HP Spectre x360. It has worked well until recently. Now, the USB-C connection is loose, and the laptop loses connection with even the slightest movement. The laptop has two USB-C ports, and the issue occurs with both ports. That’s why I suspect the problem lies with the adapter.If I could rate this seller in this box, I would give them 5 stars. I contacted the seller regarding the issue, and they offered me a full refund. I did give them 5 stars for their service. However, I'm keeping my rating at 3 stars because the product only lasted a little over a year.

Lost my original Mac charger, and needed something fast and reliable, based on the reviews, before I went on travel. Would recommend to my friends and family.

Works as intended, the connector on the PC end is much better than the original adapter. Sort of snaps in and stays connected. original was always loose and falling out.
