I have been using Ailemei products for two years. I started with a cooling blanket and it was life changing. The summer after that, I added pillowcases. This year I was looking for the coolest options for fitted sheets and lamenting that no one was making this kind of product in that space.Then the Ailemei store updated for the summer and I saw these. I was a little hesitant as the English language descriptions seemed split as to whether it was a fitted sheet or a "mattress protector" and it seemed to incorporate some aspects of a pad, but from the pictures it clearly went on like a fitted sheet, and I trusted the company enough to give it a try.So, right out of the box, it did not have the familiar super smooth texture as the blankets and pillow cases. Probably not a bad thing for a sheet. It also has an unusual texture for a sheet, but not unpleasant or uncomfortable. It went on much easier than most fitted sheets, and it has stayed on and stayed in place so well. The style of deep pocket design they use is better than others I've tried that boast of similar designs.After it had been out of the confined packaging and exposed to the air by being on the bed for a bit, it acquired the cool-to-the-touch temperature I expected. It never quite got the same icy jade sensation as the other Ailemei cooling products, but on warm spring day it made my bed feel nice and cool.During the night, obviously my body heat built up underneath me, but it did dissipate much better than it would have even with satin sheets. It also helped my Ailemei blankets shed their heat more rapidly.For best effect (and this is my advice to people with the blankets as well), I strongly recommend having a tall fan (like the kind mounted on poles) blowing over the surface of the bed. Air circulation is the key to heat transfer. Even if the fan is not blowing directly against your skin (which would keep me awake), you want any heat that leaves the bedding to immediately be blown away to free up "space" for the next bit of heat.Cool, comfortable, and a nice, clean feeling against the skin. These won't replace your cooling blanket, but they are a very good addition to it.

Bought one because I couldn't figure out why I suddenly started sleeping hot (AC was dirty and just about gave out when the temps started going up, bad Landlord for not maintaining it, no cookie!)...and honestly this works really well.It's basically baller shorts material, both layers. It's silky feeling and lightweight, like using a double top sheet and it definitely absorbs heat from your body. It gets me cold to where I have to switch to a fuzzy hot blanket in the night.Follow the care instructions. If you don't have space to hang dry it, it seemed to do ok in the dryer with no heat, air dry only.

Ocean print: greatTie dye blue print: not greatI bought the ocean print, and the tie dye blue. Ocean silky to the touch. Tie dye blue was scratchy for some reason. Maybe it was just that one? Maybe it’s every tie dye blue? But the top didn’t feel good like ocean. I returned it and bought another ocean. I’ve used it since I bought it. I didn’t realize how much I’d love a silky blanket. I wasn’t sure I’d like the way it draped on me, but I do.This is my first blanket with a cooling effect and it’s great. Sometimes my feet still get hot, but it’s much easier to fix than with any other blanket. Also, I’m using a sweater on my upper half and the blanket on my lower half.

OK. So, I didn't expect the blanket to really "cool" my body. It was yellow and looked really cute and I was curious as to how it worked. Spolier alert: Even with the window open to 29 degree snow/rain storm and five fans, it still didn't cool me down. That's ok. It's silky and sunshiny. I think the "cooling" effect is a trick of the fabric more than anything else. Silkier fabric tends to feel cool. That being said, there were times the material did feel on the cooler side. Also, to the person who complained it slips off, my blanket never slipped off once. I could see how it might, given the silky texture of the fabric. One single complaint: The package arrived completely torn open and the blanket box dented. Whoever packaged it didn't package it for a rough ride. The blanket was exposed alongside other items in the package that could have easily gotten lost in transit or stolen along the way.

I have bought several of these cooling blankets. I love it. I wish I would have bought the twin size. I use it on my recliner and it is to big. It gets caught under the leg lift and get snags if I pull it to hard to get it unstuck. But I am keeping this size but next time I will buy the smaller size. It is light weight and it keeps me cool. The price was great, but can you really put a price on staying cool in the summer. I use the air conditioner less in the summer when I use the blanket, I will buy more of these when needed.

This blanket works! I was getting night sweats from pregnancy and this helped keep me cool yet warm enough that I didn’t need another blanket. Feels amazing!

I wanted to love this blanket. I have another brand cooling blanket that I DO love and when I saw this one I liked the look of it. The colors are so pretty and I love the ocean themed print. It’s very soft and when I first spread it over me it felt cool. But this blanket is so excessively drapey and clingy that it kept wrapping around me and the parts next to my skin would heat up and I would have to unwind it to try to find a cool part that hadn’t been touching me. The other blanket that I love so much has more body and just drapes lightly across my body, making it easy to shift just a little and find a new cool spot. This is pretty and I have it thrown over my footboard because I like the way it looks but it’s completely the wrong texture for me. You might like it if you like to sleep swaddled.

Amazing! They are perfect if you suffer from hot flashes!
