These knock-off clippers are terrible. The battery died after 2 uses. I do not recommend these clippers and suggest you spend a little more for the name brand.

Q: how can i get a .5 guard?

You can use without a guard as this is more or less the cutting length that can be achieved

Q: Does this shave come with different size combs?

No! This device comes with attachments that don’t fit! It’s unusable.
