I love it. My devices stay connected. A new device was easy to connect. For the purpose I bought it for it is great. The web site on the other hand needs to be worked on. I never could get it to take me where I needed to go. Only by accident did I get the device installed. I have built my own web site and I know how one is suppose to work. If it takes more than 3 clicks to get where you need to be, it is too difficult for the average user. Fix the web site and it will be a great product.

The Wavlink Router set up was simple with the setup wizard I am using this router at the client end of an ORPEY wifi bridge 400 feet out from the ip base with high winds always. The performance is excellent with no lag on my apple TV and/or laptop. Conductivity is continuous. I am no longer having the internet dropping off. The 5g 2.4g and Lan all have full band. I would recommend

A little tricky to set up but played around with the settings and made it work. Ify our house devices are 2.4ghz and 5ghz then you need to set it to "non" dual mode on the set up or else it wouldn't work. Your 2.4ghz devices won't lock in to the dual signals. You can always reset to factory settings if you made a mistake on set up mode.

This is junk. It should be as simple as getting the router out, filling a few things in, changing the WiFi names, and the password to WiFi. NOPE! I went to Walmart and bought a router the same price as this one and it works so much better. Set up was flawless.The problem with this router is, it wants you to go to a website, not an app. When you try to go to the website, safari or chrome will say “this website isn’t supported” and then when you can get to the website to type in the password “admin” you do and then the password autofills to something else. It was truly a nightmare. Save yourself the time, hassle, trouble, and money on this router. Not sure why it has so many good reviews. It is the whole reason I bought the router.I went with a $30 router from Walmart. It was there in the store the same day I needed it. Save yourself and don’t buy this router. It is junk.

I read the bad reviews and as you would expect the reviews are complaints from people that should never try to do this themselves. Ignorance is not a bad product make.I am a professional and I have installed these in many places with no complaints. The signal strength actually outpowers my professional Cisco router. It is simple to set up but as I always say, DO NOT INSTALL THE DISKS THAT COME WITH PRODUCTS. that is how you get problems. Just log in and use the web interface on the router to set it up. It will walk you through. I have these running on many of my networks. If done properly this router will out perform your expectations.

Quality product

Manual wants you to download some third party router access BS. Wavlink web site is no longer available. Can’t access the set up features. Other than all that, seems to work fine, for now.

does it work and actually have gigabit ports, yes. however you have to manually set it up so if you have no clue how to do that its not for you. further more though, after i had it set up it required rebooting every 2 days.
