My lawn mower is on its 6th season and still works great but the original battery is wearing out and won’t last long enough to mow the whole yard especially if it’s damp or high. After having to mow in stages a few times I was more than willing to buy another one but Greenworks no longer makes the right size. What’s up with that anyway? I thought I was SOL until I saw this replacement. I am happy to say that it works great. It fits the charger and the mower perfectly and so far has done everything I need it to do. I 100% recommend it as a replacement for a Greenworks battery.

Works great

I brought this product as a replacement battery for my Greenworks Pro lawn mower. It hardly lasted two months even though mowing lightly with two batteries (One primary Greenworks battery and the other was this one). Right now the battery charges but never supplies the desired power to the mower. Better to buy original ones instead of these third party replacements which hardly last few months.

The runtime and charge time are overstated in the product information. I got about 40 minutes mowing as my 2 year old battery gets. charge time was the same- about 2 hours. The battery did not fully discharge when it stopped, which is a great feature.

After receiving this battery, it looks good and has a solid feel. Weight wise. Placed on charger, indicates fully charged. It will not power my trimmer. Placed back in cradle to check charge. Nothing. It’s useless.

this is the 3rd battery in 5yrs. They don't last and I will not be buying any more. the original lasted about 21/2 yrs and the replacement ab out 11/2 yrs. I will be going back to gas when this one dies.I am writing a follow up on my review. I got this on mar. 2 2025. I tried to mow my lawn again today and with the battery "fully charged" I was not able to finish my lawn because the battery was dead after about mowing about 1800 sq ft of lawn. Don't buy any of these as they are junk

I just got through mowing the front and back of my 5000 sq ft yard on 1 charge of battery on my 22” greenworks mower, the original battery quit recharging fully after 4 years and would only mow 1/2 of yard so I took a chance on this battery and it’s been working great for 6 months and the price was good!

I use these with a Greenworks 26” push behind. I bought two. I only ever use them together, the mower has two battery slots.I can compare them to the two OEM Greenworks batteries that are 4.0ah that came with the mower. I test both pairs of batteries on all parts of my lawn, some parts are wetter than others. I’ve mowed my lawn about a dozen times this year.These last less time than the Greenworks 4.0ah batteries. I can get about 45 mins out of the Greenworks and 30 mins out of these. The mower also gets bogged down more easily when I use these batteries.These sometimes don’t charge on the Greenworks OEM charger. Seems like it happens when they are too hot. The Greenworks batteries get just as hot but always charge no problem.I have to conclude the voltage or amperage just isn’t there. Maybe I got a bad pair of batteries, but I doubt it. They’re just a hassle to use honestly, better than nothing but not worth the price.
