Noctua NA-SAV3, Silicone Anti-Vibration Fan Mount Set (16-pack, Brown)

I got this for a fan which was vibrating and making a racket in my case. Once I replaced the screws with the silicone holders, the noise stopped.I used to hate these things but this might have made a believer out of me. Installation is easy and they withstand a lot of pull.The box contains 16 pieces, all fairly long (8 cm) and you might need to cut them off if you don't want them to stick out.I left them long as my tempered glass is a bit dark and I can't really see them.If you're going to use them in a place where it's visible, you might want to use the flat-ended version.Like a Noctua product, it's brown, which doesn't go with anything in my case, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

These do a brilliant job of killing off vibrations from fans that transfer to the case if you use screws.Not really much else to say, other than buy a load and replace fan screws if you can!

Purchased to use with Noctua heavy duty fans, as the heavy duty Noctua fans come with mount screws.Upgrading my Coolermaster laptop cooling pad, I used these to attach the fans. They work fine, they held the fans firmly and there was not vibration noise.The heavy duty fans however whilst very powerful, they were way to loud for my purpose and so ended up switching to Noctua silent fans that come with slightly different rubber mounts clips that were also better suited for my purpose.When removing the fans one of the rubber vibration mounts broke. But I had pulled them quite hard when fitting them.

These are so much better than screws. Very quick to install and do not cause any damage to the frame of the fan or case (I dont like self tapping screws that come with most fans as they make a mess). They are really durable and can be stretched so far without breaking. There is no need to be gentle with them just pull as hard as you can. Certainly faster than screws. Worth the money!

I build my own computers, and I do so for silence. When I clean out my computer, these case fan mounts tend to break so having a box of replacements is key. So many case fans come with screws that do not fit anywhere, so these are a no brainer for case fan cleaning and/or replacement. They are really easy to install and the remainder that sticks out of the case and just be cut off and you are good to go. For the price, it's a essential item when working on computer case fans.

Just the ticket when you want to quickly join two fans together. You can even sandwich a fan gasket between the two to further improve vibration isolation. They even work if one (and only one) of the fans is ribbed.This is not something you'd ordinarily do with two fans, but sometimes I like to take the frame from old/dead fans (I cut out the blade/hub assembly) and use them as spacers so as not to mount a fan directly against a case's mesh grill. This reduces interference noise and improves airflow. These rivets are perfect for this chore.

Ich nutze sie regelmäßig, damit Lüfter keinen Schall an das Gehäuse übertragen können. Das klappt auch sehr gut.Dabei setze ich sie nicht nur bei Novtua-Lüftern ein, sondern auch bei anderen, und da es durch die Schraubenlöcher geht, klappt es gut.Die Montage funktioniert auch meistens, und einmal eingebaut, halten sie über Jahre. Allerdings werden sie über Jahre (ich habe welche, die sind mittlerweile bestimmt 5-10 Jahre alt) auch brüchiger und reißen leichter, wie auch beim Einbau es bei ordentlich Zug vorkommen kann. Jedoch kommt das bei mir selten vor, insofern ist die Haltbarkeit und Qualität sehr gut.Überstände habe ich abgeschnitten, insofern sind sie für mich ein Einmalprodukt, das mit dem Lebensende des Gerätes auch entsorgt wird. Manche der Überstände habe ich dafür zwischen Lüfter und Gehäuse an den Seiten geklemmt (1HE-Gehäuse mit 40mm-Lüftern), damit diese auch keine Schwingung übertragen, und das hat auch funktioniert. So konnte sogar der Müll verwertet werden ;-)Kurzum: Ich mag diese Teile sehr und baue sie sehr gerne ein.

These things are amazing! The Arctic slim fans that I use for bottom intake were quite loud when used at more than 50% speed. Switched the mounting screws with this noctua nubbin and the fans are completely silent now!

Très simple a installer, compatible avec n'importe quel marque de ventilateur.Utilisé sur mon imprimante 3D afin de supprimer les vibrations des ventilateurs.Très efficace, plus aucun bruit de vibration même avec les ventilateurs qui tournent a plein régime.
