7 Wonders - Edifice (New Ed.)

So good. If you want to play a game with two people, just buy this game, it's amazing.

We have enjoyed playing with this expansion so far. If you are like us and go through phases of playing one game a lot, sometimes they can get a little stale even though you are having fun. 7 Wonders Duel is one of those games for us that we find ourselves playing a lot in a short amount of time sometimes. The Agora expansion is a nice addition to really freshen up the play, as it is a good diversion from the standard gameplay. If one of the players decides to start going in on the Agora mechanic, it forces the other player to divert their attention to it as well so that they are not swept away by it (similar to other factors in Duel). The mechanics of it though are different than anything else in the game, so it is cool to add it in. I would say it is probably best for medium - experienced players of Duel and not really necessary for beginners.Also, a great gift for someone you know who has Duel, as it is well priced, a good size, and that person will likely not have complaints for the added mechanic to their play sessions.

I love 7W. One of my favorite games. I’m disappointed though.My video review goes over most of my thoughts, but here is a short summary.This expansion takes part of the Babel expansion, re-packages it with some different artwork, less features, and two new wonders for really no benefit.If you really must have the two new wonders that come with it, then perhaps buy it, otherwise, if you don’t have the Babel expansion, I would highly recommend getting it first.VIDEO ADDITION: I forgot to mention, if you take part in an edifice project, you cannot also take part in advancing your Armada ships that round. (If you were playing with that expansion as well)

My family LOVES 7 Wonders. We play it A LOT. I can't understate that. This expansion is wonderful! It's easy to learn and adds neat depth to an already fantastic game.The expansion is easy to learn, and the instructions are clear. I highly recommend it!
