Crucial X6 4TB Portable SSD Up to 800MB/s USB 3.2 External Solid State Drive, USB-C - CT4000X6SSD9

The SDD is quite compact, it operates fast, and compatible to almost every device like laptop PC phone etc.. Works fine when you use USB A male to USB C cable to connect the SSD to the PC or Laptops which does not have USB C Female input.. It is pretty light weight and fits easily into pocket as well. Best for the price.And the default format of this SSD is exFAT which is a common format which works with Mac and Windows. Though NTFS works with Mac as well but only for copying from it to the pc, you cannot Write back onto the SSD from the pc, cannot modify or rename etc. But you cannot make partitions or resize exFAT format SSD. If you want to make partitions then you have to format the SSD to NTFS and then you will be able to encrypt the files, use Bitlocker and the files will be safer as compared to exFAT. While exFAT format is less reliable as compared to NTFS because NTFS can automatically repair files and folders if there's a power failure or errors unlike exFAT. Thankfully there are software for Mac which can read and also Write NTFS, so it is better to choose it while formatting.

This 2TB SSD is one of the best if not the best I have ever owned. I have desktop SSDs, NAS systems, and external hard drives, but they are all made for a desktop. This tiny drive can fit in your pocket and has incredibly fast transfer speeds. If you have an iPhone 15, it can be used to capture ProRES video/photography. The price point is affordable for the value it provides. A lot of influencers and content creators use this drive because of its reliability, portability, and speed. I am thinking of purchasing a couple more for different projects.

I needed an external SSD for storage and thought this was a great offer. It's good, pretty fast. However I am scared I will spoil it for the following reasons1. It is tiny, smaller than a regular credit card except its thicker.2. Looks absolutely fragile.But the deal was pretty good to give up.

The product is amazing. I was blown away with its lightning fast speed. When I was copying large files, I saw write speed go up to 540 Mb/s. I am amazed by such good performance. I would highly recommend this product if someone is looking to buy a SSD

No doubt it is very compact in size but file transfer rate is very poor, it is really so much costly and it looks very fragile and made up of very poor quality plastic material, I am scared that by mistake of i gets fell on the ground it will stop working...please do not waste money buying this light product, try to buy some good build quality SSD.

EDIT: Nor sure why but the seller is refunding my money as they think I’m returning the product. Not the case. It’s awesome. I hope they read this and reverse the refund. No other way to contact them.Wow did SSD drives ever get SMALL! This version connected right to my iPhone and iPad and just worked. No issues. Love that! Included short cable a super bonus too. This tiny drive will give me almost 5 hours of recording at ProRes 4K 30 fps. Very happy with that. Saving up for next one.

SSD compacto com bastante memória, rápido e leve.

Esta unidad SSDes de muy buena calidad y muy alta velocidad. La estoy utilizando en una iMac de 2017 que traía disco duro y funcionaba muy lenta. Reinstalé el sistema operativo en el SSD conectado al puerto USB C y funciona con mucha velocidad aún con los programas de diseño más pesados, casi tan rápido como las nuevas Mac. Es una enorme mejora en el desempeño, particularmente cuando se usa software demandante de recursos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

El disco lo puse de entrada en un HUB UGREEN con el convertidor USB-A que viene incluido y la lectura era de aproximadamente 345 MB/s No tenía otro puerto USB-C libre en la Macbook Pro ya que tengo un Pen Display pero ya después lo que hice fue conectar dicho Pen Display por HDMI en el HUB y conectar el SSD en el puerto USB-C de la mac y subió a entre 687 a 745 MB/s en escritura y en lectura 763 MB/s lo que mejoró significativamente. Estoy muy contento con la unidad Crucial X8 SSD. Son 4TB, el material excelente, casi no se calienta . Muy recomendable!!
