Made for the apocalyptic
I work in theatre prop making and I needed to use the parts of this pogo stick for a particular project. All I can say is this thing is very well made, as it was a pain in the arse to dismantle, and the paint is basically indestructible, as with professional chemicals and equipment it still took me nearly two days to remove all the paint, so you can be damn sure your kid won't be damaging it any time soon!It also bounced fine with me on it and I am over 20kg over the weight limit. It's been an absolute pain for me, which shows how good it is!

Currently like a solid stick hitting of the ground
Very stiff for a child to use. Need an adult to get the springs moving so that my son can actually use it. My 7 yr old son needs to get a bit heavier because at the moment there is no movement from the springs with his weight but there is when an adults stand on it.. Currently like a solid stick hitting of the ground. Springs may loosen with more use from an adult.

Looks great but not fit for purpose
I bought this for my sporty 8 year old son who had got the pogo bug after trying a friend's. I looked around for a mid-range stick that looked like it wasn't a 'toy' but something my all three of my children could enjoy for some years. This was positively reviewed by lots of people, so it seemed like the perfect option. Within a couple of days, my son had really bruised inside his knees from banging on the lever (it seems a bit of a design fault to have it there). A couple of days later the 'spring button' at that point disappeared and left a sharp spike (which we removed). The lever held the pogo stick firm in that position and we covered the area in insulation tube which solved the bruising issue. The next day the black stopper on the bottom fell off as it was totally worn to shreds. Then, within a couple of days, the spring buttons in the handles came off again leaving sharp spikes (though I think we have managed to repair them). This has felt like a clown car with bits falling off it all the time... we've had it less than 2 weeks. It has had heavy usage, but it has also been treated well - it just isn't fit for purpose.
