KIKKOMAN Seasoning for Sushi

Compare to other brands,this sushi vinegar is the best for my liking.Thank you.

I don’t only use it for sushi but use it in other dishes too. To create an umami flavour you need salt, sweet, sour and chilly. This vinegar gives the 3 elements of umami, salty, sweet and sour. I couldn’t live without it.

Works well, very tasty but quite expensive, you could make your own seasoning for half the price. Tasty but pricey.

Was a little worried on first use and it smells very vinegary ... but the smell goes by the time you come to use it (mixed with rice then left for an hour) and binds the rice beautifully.

This is perfect for flavouring sushi rice or sticky rice in general as the taste is not overwhelmingly strong. It has a delicate, light tart, sweet taste, and also the smell is very mild to the point it's almost nonexistent when mixed with rice. I prefer it over other brands personally and would recommend it for people looking for a lighter more balanced flavoured vinegar.

Been looking for this in usual supermarket outlets to no avail. A bit more expensive but perfect for salads.
