This is a new and very pleasurable experience in tea drinking for me. This is really FRESH tea and you need very little to make a nice pot of tea. I use only 5ml flat teaspoon of this tea in a Whittards glass "brewing" pot (the one that goes over the candle burner). This makes about 3 generous cups of tea, but even then I can add extra water to the leaves and they still produce a good brew without it "stewing" and becoming bitter.One thing this tea is not - it isn't bitter. It has a wonderful fresh flavour that is soooo much better than the bog-standard "black" tea we drink all the time, to which we add milk (and some add sugar). This Oolong tea needs nothing else - no milk, no sugar, nothing. The leaves gradually unfurl as the water softens the tightly rolled leaves. It is a lovely colour and great taste - very delicate and delicious. Also, to my mind, this is vastly superior to any "fruit tea" I have tasted. Oh, and you actually know when it was PICKED as this is stated on the box. Most teas state when it was packed, so you have no idea how old and how much oxidation the tea has gone through before you drink it. My tea arrived in March and was picked in January, less than 2 months before - the "Winter Flush". Oolong is also credited with providing great health benefits. I will be buying more of this.

Really lovely Oolong tea and very fresh. My only gripe is what some other reviewers have mentioned in that the amount of packaging is not necessary. Would love the owner to cut back on all the paper and cardboard!!

This tea tastes very average if you don't put enough leaves in but if you do, it is really deliciousI found it best brewed a bit colder than boiling water and I added about 10% of cold water before adding boiling.
