Second hand office furniture can be a good buy for home use but the drawers seldom come with keys ! This lock was bought to replace just such a case. Unscrewed the old one, threw it in the bin and screwed the new one in place. Fits like a glove and the mechanism works perfectly.Can work out cheaper to replace the lock than get replacement keys (often the code on the old lock may refer to multiple styles / sizes of keys).
