Extremely Easy - Works Great
This worked perfectly to add sound to a homemade greeting card. The only issue I had was that I accidentally hit the record button a couple of times and had to rerecord the music. I had the volume on my ipad turned all the way up when I recorded and the sound in the card was awesome.

Works for a sophisticated Project
I had purchased a cheaper unit that had terrible audio. I am using this in a souind system wheere I need to automatically record sounds and then automatically play them back several times over. A simple logic circuit interfaced to this unit without difficulty. I removed the batteries and used the system power at 5 volts without incident. A solid little building block, well-made.Edit: WARNING: The black foam is conductive! This is fine if you are putting this in a greeting card. I was mounting this on a pre-perfed, pre-tinned PCB, and when I cleaned the board with Qtips and alcohol mixture, I found that conductive material had leached out of the foam and caused interpin resistances from 5 megohms all the way down to 20k. Oops!

Novelty use but too low of volume
May be good for novelty use, but the volume is too low to be heard or understood more than a couple of feet away. If fed to an external amplifier, it would be more useful. Not sure who would ever need to record up to a 17 minute message. I know I'd shut it off after a short time.

Easy to Use
This item was intended for Halloween. It accepted multiple recordings, which were played in order as the sensor was triggered. There was plenty of volume for outdoor use.

Voice recorder!
Easy to record voice messages! Volume seemed a little low but it might have been because I was not close enough to the microphone! Would like to try the direct AUX in recording as well. If I can update this later I will.

No instructions, but they aren't needed. Very cool recorder for cards!
The media could not be loaded. The recording module I got is super thin and easy to use. I was able to install this in my wife's valentine's day card. I like how it sounds too. Considering the size, it sounded incredible. You won't be disappointed.
