Great finish and nice to work with
This gives an ever so slightly satin finish, which actually looked really good in the end. I used it on a solid teak table and the end result i was more than happy with.It took three coats to get it where i wanted and goes on very easily, its quite thin and milky but it spreads and soaks in well.Would definitely purchase it again if I wanted that style of finish

Good varnish for wooden decorations
I have recently taken up Pyrography and needed a varnish that would be easy to coat the wood, dried quickly and was easy to clean out the brushes... and this does all of those jobs for me. The brushes can be washed out in just hot soapy water. It takes just an hour to dry before you can apply another coat. When you first open the can it is a milky white colour which is a little strange and off-putting but it dries clear and you get used to its earlier appearance. It does take 3 coats for a good look/finish but this is a good bargain to strike with the other pluses.

A little product goes a long way, don't be fooled by the small size of the tin!
First things first, 250ml seems like a small quantity but a little goes a long way with this product. I purchased this in order to varnish several long skirting boards. Initially I was skeptical, surely this small tin can't do the whole job, but it did and that too with three coats. The product is also very easy to work with, it appears milky and certainly feels that way too, a fine paint brush is all that is needed to use this. Cleaning is also easy, simply rinse your paint brush with warm soapy water and your good to go. Drying times are also very quick.Do bear in mind, that the first coat goes unnoticed, the second is just about visible, the third coat is where you can tell you've actually made any progress. Although each coat does not use a lot of the product, if I was to criticise the product, you could argue it takes several coats to see any noticeable difference, but the end result is what matters. Ultimately the results are stunning, even with the color being clear. If you found my review helpful, please click the "Yes" button to state this so I know its been a help to someone. Thank you!

Easy to use and silky smooth results
This product isn't what I expected from a varnish: it has a thin, milky consistency, and no solvent odour. However it does the job brilliantly. A 250ml tin was enough to do one interior oak panelled door with 3 coats: the first coat used about half the tin, but having sealed it, the subsequent coats took less. The instructions are simple: leave one hour between coats, and before applying the last coat, sand down lightly and wipe with a damp cloth. Brushes clean easily in warm soapy water.

Does the job!
We put 3 oak shelves up in our downstairs loo and needed a small amount of varnish, I barely used 1/3 of the tin with 3 coats on each shelf so it definitely goes a long way. Tin says to lightly sand before final coat and it was needed as it left the wood feeling a bit rough but after sanding and final coat it’s perfect. It washed out of the brushes easily too.

Very streaky finish
I have used other varnishes without it leaving brush marks. I used a good brush and painted in mild temperature. Not that happy with the result.
