Wind deflector should be welded on
Only reason for 4 stars is that you have to screw the wind deflector on which leaves a gap that causes additional wind noise and it tends to rattle against the basket. I used some rtv along the entire gap to combat this. Also wish the mounting brackets had a rubberized contact point, as the whole thing slides fairly easily even when tightened down. I used some toolbox padding on all contact points. All that said, it seems to be a pretty solid unit and I feel like the 150 pound weight limit might be too modest (I don't plan to put more than maybe 120 pounds of stuff on it but still). Instructions were also pretty straightforward.

Easy to install
Rack arrived with items wrapped in foam individually and tie wrapped together to minimize movement inside box. Good coat of non luster black paint. Assembled easily just by looking at the pictured instructions. Minor problem was the thinner crossbars on my 4Runner. It left a 1/2” gap between hard plastic (pictured) mount, crossbar and metal bar even with U-bolt tightened all the way. Solution was to add hard rubber (kneeling pad) to compensate for 1/2” gap. I went with the 2nd option of mounting with the U-bolt facing down. 1st option which was easier, was to have the U-bolt come in from the bottom. This option left the bolt sticking up and will damage the load.

Great rack!
Love this tray rack. A bit difficult to assemble, but if you just follow the directions, I think anyone should be able to do it. Not bad to install on my 2023 Santa Fe with the cross bars installed. Once installed, it seems to be very sturdy and secure. I have taken it on 2 500-mile trips without any problem. Comes with a net and ratcheting tie downs. I used both along with wrapping all my boxes in a sturdy tarp. Didn't move. No problem at all.

Missing Main Front Fairing - No Response from Manufacturer
Did not receive all parts of the roof rack. It was missing the front main fairing with the manufacturer logo. I don't care about a logo, but that piece is obviously prominent and important. The rack is incredibly loud in the wind as it is.I reached out directly to the company via the only, very obscure, contact avenue they provided, which was a strange email address in the instruction manual. This was 2 weeks ago, and of course, no response. Also, the amazon customer service was unable to help with this, and in fact hung up on me during a hold period on the phone (but not until I'd been passed around to 3 different representatives). The rack itself, for the cost, isn't bad. It otherwise looks good, and the material seems decent and relatively solid. It will obviously need to be oiled well for maintenance and rust prevention. It isn't the strongest thing in the world, and is assembled in several large pieces. That's about all I can say about it. I just want my front fairing. Without that and without response about it from the company, it gets one star. Oh, and, I rarely leave a review. But this ought to be heard.

Nice rack!
This is a great rack for the price. I put it on a 5th Gen 4runner. I bought it specifically because of the 64 inch length that would accommodate a tent that my daughter uses for her soccer team. If you do an antenna delete you can put this thing as far back as it’ll go and still not cover up the sunroof. Then for 180 bucks or whatever it’s solidly made it looks great too!!!
