Neilsen's CT1109: A Powerful and Portable Sandblasting Solution
🔧 As a DIY enthusiast, I've been on the hunt for a reliable and versatile sandblaster to tackle a variety of projects. The Neilsen CT1109 30 lb Portable Air Sand Blaster caught my eye with its impressive set of features.💪 The 30-lb capacity seamless polyethylene hopper is a standout, allowing me to handle a substantial amount of media without constant refilling. The heavy-duty sandblast gun with a hardened steel nozzle ensures a durable and effective performance, even with abrasive materials like glass beads, sand, and aluminum oxide.👍 The portability of this unit is a major plus, as it allows me to bring the sandblasting power wherever I need it. The inclusion of a 5-ft rubber hose gives me the flexibility to maneuver the gun around tight spaces and reach those hard-to-access areas.🤔 One potential drawback is the lack of specific information on the air compressor requirements. While the product description mentions that a compressor is needed, it doesn't specify the recommended size or power output. This could be a consideration for those who don't have access to a suitable compressor.🔍 Based on customer feedback, the Neilsen CT1109 seems to be a reliable and effective sandblaster. Users have praised its power, durability, and ease of use, though a few have mentioned the need for a more powerful compressor to achieve optimal performance.🌟 Overall, the Neilsen CT1109 30 lb Portable Air Sand Blaster appears to be a solid choice for DIYers and professionals alike who require a versatile and portable sandblasting solution. Its impressive capacity, sturdy construction, and flexibility make it a compelling option for a wide range of projects. 🛠️

Exactly what is says!
Great for many things, I found it better not to use a Fine sand as it tends to travel in the air (Depending what you are stripping) when I used a Dried out Holm Sand it was heavier meaning a faster job and much less Airborne sand.THIS IS A GREAT BLASTER!

Master Blaster
I deducted a star because the red canister had little bits of red plastic inside that clogged up the gun. It was a pain to find this out to start with as I kept messing about with the air feed and nozzle.Once I blew compressed air down the rubber pipe the plastic bits flew out and all was well. Had it worked straight away I would have given five stars. So, before you try to use one make sure the red container is completely clear of debris first. For an abrasive medium I used kiln dried block sand from a local builders merchant. Cheap as chips. So there was no need to try to capture it after use to reuse. Half a bag did the whole of a rusty car trailer. It is not the fastest in the world but it does do a fair job if the rust is not too thick. Also, it is imperative that a water trap is used on the airline as any dampness will clog the nozzle.it worked best with air pressure of a 100psi, but it will still work down to 80psi. I never tried it any lower because at 80psi it started to struggle. The shoulder strap was ideal as I could walk around as I wanted and full with sand it was not too heavy to carry. It is advisable to wear overalls and face mask as sand gets everywhere. All in all I enjoyed using this blaster. I can see that on small car body repairs this will be ideal to get rid of rusty areas deep inside body panels.I would definitely buy another if this one wears out.

Not impressed
With a 9.5cfm-2.5hp 50ltr tank and it hardly removes rust. Not really impressed tbh ..as if all blow no force? Media coming out but not at great force? ...maybe i need a bigger compressor?
