I bought this Balance Board mainly because I run and every now and again I get ankle pain so was thinking rehab and this would build up the muscles around the ankle the other side to the Balance Board is I can use it to add variation and make core exercises more difficult, so improve strength.Arrival: Super fast I ordered Sunday it arrived Monday.Packaging: Very nice and professional box showing the Balance Board plus exercises and product features.Use: Solid, non-slip are the 2 key features that mean I’m comfortable using this apparatus. The angle of the under dome and side rim of the board (11cm at full tilt) means there is movement in the board and adds to difficulty. Great for standing on improving balance, knee and ankle strength but also can be used for planks, press-ups etc so adds more dimension to training, increases difficulty and increases overall strength. All this and it’s a small piece of equipment that I can push in a cupboard or behind the sofa (if the wife’s not looking).Overall: Very happy, arrived fast, great packaging, very robust, does what I expected and more keeping my training varied and interesting, a great little fitness tool that I had previously overlooked.

I bought this to work on core stability and strength as part of off-ice training for figure skating. It's light weight, easy to transport around in a skate (or gym) bag. It's non slip - although was a bit slippy on laminate floor - fine on tiled floor. Really good centred weight and ideal for practising spiral's, one foot squats etc. You can even spin on it! Highly recommended for any core training. I was looking at Bosu balls but that was a bit more of an investment than I could make right now and I feel like this is a really affordable and great next option.

It has helped me

I bought this balance board in order to challenge my balance and improve my ankle control however it's fairly easy. Over a carpet it's super easy doesn't do anything, on a wooden floor it's again easy but it does challenge your balance slightly. If you want to properly challenge and improve your balance though I would recommend a more rounded bottom as this one is quite flat.

Good value. looks like a large LP record so not unattractive to leave around. Use on carpet or similar as on tiles it slid about. Need to hang on to something to get started. Helps improve balance. I use with Alexa to set myself a time target.
