I bought this for a particular smelly water butt that had algae in it. After a week I noticed that the water was noticeably cleaner and had lost most of its smell. The bottle is really easy to use and measure and a little goes a long way.

I used this in the Summer on my water butt, but found it not very affective, even doubling the dose. The smell from the water persisted.
