Small, amazingly bright, worth every penny.
If you don't have time to read all the review - just buy this if you need a torch!I use this daily at work. It's much smaller than other torches (it's smaller than a whiteboard marker pen) - I even had someone go to take it out of my pocket as they needed to 'borrow my pen' (although I did question their eyesight!).In 8 months of use I'm on my 3rd set of batteries (but as I said, it gets used a lot). I've noticed a distinct drop-off in brightness when the batteries are nearing the end of their life, so tend to change them quickly when I spot that. However, my main praise must be reserved for just how bright the light is! It is so much better than the old 'bulb' maglites. It is powerful enough to light a path when it is pitch black, and there's no 'black spot' in the middle of the light. It also weighs very little.I think the simplest test of how useful something is to you is: If you lost it today, would you buy another tomorrow. My answer is yes, without a doubt.

Not my favourite Maglite
In itself, this is a great little torch.I just think either the smaller Solitaire or the larger double-AA Maglite represents a better option, depending what you want. This double-AAA is too big for small spaces, and doesn't really give out enough light for following a path at night, or rooting under the bed, or lighting any significant space, so it struggles to find a niche. it's just weak sauce all round compared to it's brethren. Get the smaller one or get the bigger one.

Extremely bright & adjustable beam.
So much better than the original model with an extremely bright LED. Good adjustable beam & nice & small to carry. Great Mag quality as usual and good runtime on commonly available batteries. What’s not to like?

Working fine
I bought 2 such flashlights for someone who says they’re working fine.

Blimey, that's bright
It's LED, so it's very bright. And it doesn't weigh much. So, it's a bright light light. It would be useless in a self-defence situation, but is excellent where you want your non-dominant hand easily holding a torch that's chucking out masses of light.

Very Bright
Brighter than the bigger torches that I bought a few years ago. Quite amazing how something this tiny can be so bright. Torch technology is getting better. Well made and pleasing to hold. Expensive for a tiny torch though. I can't comment on battery life yet.

Bright little torch
I bought one of these randomly when I was in the USA and got more as soon as I came back to keep in the house and garden. They are small, very bright indeed, and reliable.

Well made bright light
I’ve always been a fan of Maglite’s and have several.Added this one to my collection, I find it has a very good high intensity beam for such a small torch, 100 lumins not 111 as stated. The only criticism would be the pocket clip, once fitted to the torch it has a tendency to move around if caught whilst holding or operating the torch, but apart from that a very handy discrete in size torch
