Rear door submodel reviewed - with install tips
Short version: I love it (I should specify that I bought the rear door screen as it seems Amazon combines reviews for the rear and side/sliding door screens). It's high quality (be leery of the "magnetic" screens - the ones I've seen had poor quality screen and have weak magnets that don't stay in place).Besides quality material, it's great that you have multiple options: (1) open it entirely, or (2) open just the bottom half to remove gear, or (3) just expose the screen at the top for ventilation within the van - and for ventilation over the bed at night.Install tips: there are no in box instructions - the manufacturer provides a card with a QR Code for digital instructions. That's fine, but I'd like to add a few tips.(1) It is suggested this is a 2-person install - I agree! Working solo, I 'installed' it twice but I wasn't happy with the alignment - it took me over one hour (~ 1:20). Once I got a helper to hold it, we finished the 3rd and final install in about 25-minutes.(2) The instructions state to start at the top. I partially disagree. Yes - start by clamping it at the top, but we found that permanently 'fastening' it from the bottom-up gave a much better result (in the first attempt).(3) Put the helper on a step stool and have them hold the sides - and stretch [or rather pull] the sides straight. Yes, when permanently fastening you want & need some slack, but if the helper holds the sides straight with a bit of pressure it will eliminate wrinkles.(4) Once you get back to the top - to permanently fasten it - you can (re)adjust it to mitigate any slack & to make it 100% square.Again, I found it critical to permanently fasten the screen from the bottom and work up so the bottom isn't too long - if the bottom is too long, you'll have trouble latching and/or closing the rear doors. This is top quality - at a top price. You get what you pay for. If you have a camper van that you've invested tens of thousands of dollars, why would you buy & install a 'junky' $100 model. In my opinion, this screen is worth the price.

Good product, but did not fit Sprinter 2022
Well made & attaches easily. Just does not fit 2022 Mercedes Revel Sprinter van. Product is about 3/4 short on one corner. Bummer. This is really a good product.

Does not fit 2014 sprinter van no matter what you do. Inside or outside. Too small
Does not fit 2014 Sprinter. Followed instructions. Watched video. Had others try to install it. It’s too small. If they made it an inch or two bigger it would’ve been great. But no one we had try to fit them could get them to fit without gaping mosquito holes. In the corners. Pull one corner to make it fit perfectly and another corner pops. Such a letdown. Also, they are labeled “left” and “right”. There is no such thing as left and right in vehicle windows. It’s “passenger” and “driver”. Facepalm.

Really Pleased with this Purchase
Check out the video on installation. It's not hard but it does take some time to get it all together. The hardest part is positioning/getting it centered. Once thats done, it's just a matter of time. This screen is going to be great when we find our camping spot is buggy. You can store it out of the way by rolling it up if not needed. My dog enjoys the easy access in or out with magnet closure. As far as durability, I'm sure this will last for years. It is not cheaply made and the affordablity is well worth the purchase. We got the rear screen door as wel and we are just as happy. Very happy with these purchases.

Fit well once you get used to them
These worked well on a recent 2500 mile camping road trip. It feels a little odd to put them on the exterior where they could be easily removed by someone who wants them, but it was fine for our needs. It helped to allow us to have more airflow on hot nights.

Mercedes Sprinter passenger door screens
The lack of magnets on the front makes for a very loose fit especially in the wind. Fidgety to put on. The leading edge has no attachment points. With any wind, gaps are created along the edge.

Great bug screen….but.
Install the screen was really easy wasn’t too hard. Definitely need two people to make it easier on yourself. Screen does what it’s supposed to do. Keep the bugs out even the smallest of ones. I did a week in Canada never had issues with bugs coming in at all. The only issue that I have with it. Is when you have the screen Down to shut the sliding door it’s a little tricky, getting around the screen and grabbing door. But other than that, it works great! Very nice quality product from van essentials Worth the money!

Love the Bug Screen
I got my VanEssentail Bug Screen and installed it today. I love the quality of the fabric and the construction. I haven't had opportunity to actually use it on the road yet, but I will soon be going camping to test it out.The only draw back is that that it says it will take about 30 minutes to install. It took me 2 hours. I did have to do it by myself, but I think 30 minutes is a bit over zealous! And I only ordered from Amazon because of the free returns, unfortunately the VE site requires you to pay return postage if you need to send it back.

Increased Airflow for a Sprinter Van
We bought these screens after boondocking for 5 months. We pretty quickly figured out that we needed more airflow than we were able to get opening all the coach windows and vents. So, we ordered these and I have to ssay they are a game changer, just getting the cross breeze through makes a huge difference. And they have a handy lttle carry bag, so when you aren't using them, they roll up and get put into the bag which then gets hung on the coat hook. Easy and convenient. Defintely recommend them.

Excited to be protected 😅
Well made at a great price. Install took me twice as long as suggested but maybe it was the installer 😅. I would definitely recommend. Although I haven’t had long the material looks like it will stand up for years. 🙏
