Excellent book for a new parents.
I recommend this book as a "must have" book definitely for the first time parents. Very easy reading, specially if English is not your first language. A lot good tips for new parents what's actually working. I like also the a chapter where the author explains children development. That's gives an information why you kids doing those crazy things what's put you on the edge.I can't wait to see more books from this author.

Fathers can be parents too…
This book is a quick and easy read. It has some good advice that is easy to take on board. My one issue is everything is written from the female point of view, dads do not get much attention. As a father who was the main care giver for my son this stuff winds me up. It’s like ‘mothers and toddler groups’ a lot of parent stuff just assumes dads are not involved and this is a bit patronising and does a great disservice to the many fathers who are engaged in their child’s lives. So for future editions the author should consider a chapter for dads or make the examples more gender neutral.

Loved the book
I had the chance to read this book before it’s laurnch and I have really enjoyed reading this and getting new technique to help with the kids.As a mother of 2 girls I’ve found tantrums hard but this has given me the chance to change how I do things and it’s helped.

So patronising
This book is filled with semi-decent advice but it so patronising it is difficult to get through. The author treats the reader like they are incapable of understanding the most basic of concepts and seem to forget they are talking to adults rather than children. In addition, the advice inside is so banal as to almost be unworthy of the pages it is printed on. Although it does cover important issues and obviously talking from experience there are much better books out there.

Angry that I read this
This should not be called a book. It’s a person’s personal journey through blogs. It’s patronising that it only refers to mothers, to imply that fathers aren’t involved. The advice is useless and has no research or proper strategies. It also contradicts itself. So mad that I read this. Actually, I’m angrier!
