3 x 4 Micro-Mesh TM Sanding Pads 9 Grits

I was about to throw in the towel on my latest woodworking project. The finish was a mess, full of scratches and imperfections. Then I found these Micro-Mesh sanding pads. They worked like magic! Starting with the coarser grit and gradually moving to the finer ones, I was able to achieve a mirror-like finish. These pads are a must-have for any serious woodworker.

Perfect for wet sanding acrylics! Great for pen turning and headlight restoration.

In addition to hobby uses, I used these to polish eyeglasses, scratched or scuffed plastic parts around the house etc. I've had mine for about 4 years and they are still going strong. I absolutely swear by them.My ONLY complaint, is that the pads themselves don't have the grit labeled. I've lost the pamphlet with the grits listed so I have to look up my purchase every time.Other than that, honestly, everyone should just have these around the house. They're extremely handy to have and super convenient to use.

This is my second set of this type of pad. I really like how well these polish hardwood to a highly reflective surface. After using a tack cloth, the finished piece is beautiful as is. These pads look well made but I've only used the highest grit from this new pack, which worked well (I've found the higher grits {smaller number} get more use than the finer pads and I've worn out the first one of my original set after 4 smaller surface-area projects). Using these pads is all hand work and larger area pieces can take a while to reach the luster using each pad in succession. The foam pad nicely shapes to conform around rounded edges. The pads have the same surface material on both sides but not on the edges.

These 3x4 micro-mesh sanding pads hold up very well. They are flexible, and can be used to get into corners without the edges scratching the work surface. I use them like wet-or-dry sandpaper with water. I recently used them to successfully polish an old aluminum dirt bike muffler.I've used these pads primarily on wood and epoxy for exactly one year. They are holding up well. Only the 1500 grit pad is showing signs of wear. Since the price hasn't increased ridiculously over the last year, I can recommend getting a set of these.

I make wooden ink pens and finish them with CA glue. These pads polish the finish to a very high sheen

I used them for polishing my guitar frets and they work great. Time consuming yes but worth it. You will just need to clean the pads after each use to prolong their life.
