Handmade Leather Arm Guard Bow Hand Shooting Glove

I love this arm guard! It is incredibly well made, and manages to be both beautiful and functional. The leather is of good quality, and the craftsmanship is first rate! The addition of the half glove is ideal for those who shoot a horse bow or bows without an arrow rest or shelf.The only thing I would change would be if I could order it custom made and fitted to me. But that is because I'm very small - I believe the vast majority of people will find this a very good fit. It will be long on a small woman like myself, or a child. Other than that, there is a lot of room for adjustment, and the added leather flap under the laces means no skin is exposed there.If ever the opportunity to purchase one custom made arises, i would be thrilled to purchase another, and one more as a spare!

Back in the ole day when oh I was 40 or so an was an active archery target shooter, I never wore any arm protection an sometimes boy if that string got ya ud know it,so now I starting again I figured I'd look into something an came across this one, I needed a right hand an I got the brown it arrived today tried it on really nice fit and the thumb hid is a great idea keeps it from moving around an the leather is a good quality thickness, I was a little concerned about laceing it up with one hand but it was real easy strings a little long great idea but I think I'll cut mine down less tuck in, I treated it with Picard leather dressing just for rain protection an other, but the leather is a great quality not to thick an very soft an flexible right out of the package, when I get my bow back from being re-strung gonna put it through the test I believe I'm gonna be really happy with this product an would definitely recommend it to another archer, good luck shoot well an shoot those ribin-hoods, I have several times at 30 yds. This works fine as arm protection, but the hand gripping portion of the glove bunches up and makes holding a bow very awkward.Overall it is made well, but you will probably need to customize, cut, and sew your own glove.

I love this thing. I have small hands/wrists so it's a bit big for me personally, but I just tighten it as much as I can and fold the extra inward at the palm. I've worn it for one archery event and shot maybe a bit less than 100 arrows and there is noticeable color wear at the arrow pass, but I also use a traditional wooden longbow with no arrow rest. Protects well and looks good doing it.I was also so happy to find one available for the right arm that covers the thumb area. There are not a lot of guards out there for those who draw left handed.

It does everything you need it do. Tightening is a little awkward and it's a little bulky between the thumb and forefinger where the bow riser rests in your hand. Other than that, I enjoy using it.

Perfect fit! Can't wait to use this for my renn Faire ranger!

This armguard is without question the most well made and heaviest duty guard I have ever seen. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the construction and material. Should last a lifetime.

Loving this thing! It comes up high enough that I have to really shoot weird to get underneath the bracer. Don't under estimate me I definitely have done this, but not often. I can't still feel the string hit and it stings a bit, but doesn't bruise. That's with a 45lb bow. It's comfortable, laces up easily, and looks cool! I didn't have to modify it at all to get started which was wonderful! The only downside is the black leather made my arm look bruised for half a day after I wore it hiking/shooting/sweating for 3 hours. I'm assuming that will wear off with time and it doesn't happen when I'm just target practicing.
