Yes, this is a bit expensive, at least in my opinion, but I'm so glad I got it. My 20+ year old fridge in my rv has a lot of trouble keeping even remotely cool once the outside temps warm up in spring and summer. After much reading I saw that many use a fan such as this and add a fan behind the fridge in the area on accessible on the outside of the rv. This fan clips right onto the aluminum fins at the fridge on the inside and has a nice long wire to wire to a dc connection. I couldn't use my fridge light connection as it is non-working, so I ran the wire down through the drain tube at the back of fridge and it comes out to the outside where I then connected it to a small dc block that power was supplied to by my convertor. Piece of cake! And it works like a charm. I played with positions on the fins and finally settled at midway vertically and to the far left horizontally, to get the best results. My fins have not iced or frosted over since and I was having to defrost weekly. The temps are also staying around 32 with the fridge set on 4 out of 5 cooling settings. I am very happy with this fan and while I've not had it but several weeks, I can't see any reason it won't last a very long time. I'll update this review if I have any problems.

This made an amazing difference! I didn't trust our fridge at all. Placing a thermometer in the fridge, it was quite often too warm. Having this fan has made our fridge cooler over all and far more even temp top to bottom. It is a little on the noisy side, but I have zero regrets and would highly recommend it.

Wife complained the unit took up too much space with it being mounted in front of fins. So moved it to bottom blowing up with good results too. Refrigerator is more uniformity cool with fans in place. Seems to to its job.

I like this fan helps in cooling food and water drinks . It's quiet also when on . Installation is simple . After fridge is cold turn this on and it circles fridge with coolair. Happy with this and lifetime warranty. 💕

Highly suggest this item for your refrigerator works great and easy to install a little difficult to get the wire down the drain plug of my particular fridge but when installed drops temperature by at least 8°
