We purchased this remote control car as a birthday gift for a 7 year old boy who arrived in the US from Ukraine. He absolutely loved it and it instantly became his favorite gift and toy. His siblings also loved this toy, as well and they all wanted a chance to try it! The remote control is easy to use and intuitive. The car /transformer will give hours of fun for your child. It is safe, fun, easy to use, helps the child with using his fine motor skills and coordination (hands) and it gives them an opportunity to practice using controls and remembering how they impact the direction of the car (forward, reverse, circular, etc.) This is a great purchase. I purchased this gift for a class Christmas gift. I thought the video was cool so I purchased it. I wanted to make sure I sent batteries if it called for it but after looking back in the description I could find anywhere that stated if it did. I’m not sure how well it worked but, I thought it was a nice gift for a child.

I ordered two of these - the first one came today. The delivery included the Transformer Car and a walkie-talkie - both items were packaged together in a bag rather than in a box. The Transformer's box had a big gash in it - I think something heavier must have been put on top of the bag and the smaller, sturdier walkie-talkie box must have gotten crushed into the Transformer box.It is a Christmas gift, which I really didn't want to open, but I did because I was afraid it was broken. The inner packaging is crushed, but the car seems to be okay. Although it is definitely not a sturdy toy. Also, the remote controller says "On" and "Off", but there is no corresponding button - I don't know if the On/Off switch broke off, or if it is supposed to be like that. Fortunately, it seems to go off automatically after a couple of minutes - otherwise the batteries will burn out quickly. I'm glad I opened it because I didn't know that it needs 5 AA batteries.I'm waiting for the second one to be delivered to see if this first one is actually damaged or not.I just went online and the car is now $3.00 less than it was yesterday - annoying!
