I will suggest to all watch collectors and investors to read this book.It costs around $30 but significantly saves you from buying the wrong watches.This book will help you manoeuvre the right path in your watch collection journey.Sometimes, I wish to have this book earlier to prevent me from splashing all the cash on the wrong watches.Well, better late than never to read this book. I have read it from cover to cover. And continue to return to certain chapters to refer more when I need a reference. It is highly recommended.

This book was written at one of the most volatile times in the history of horology. From the ongoing obsession with luxury watches fueled by the cryptocurrency boom (and now bust), the shortages caused by pandemic buying and the endurance of Rolex as the brand of choice among new collectors, it's almost impossible to predict where things may go. As a veteran of the industry, Marc provides insights few others can, casting his astute eye to the long term trajectory of this unique store of value. If you're a collector, an investor or just interested in watches, I highly recommend this as a read - it's fantastic.

I wish I had had this book when I started collecting watches. It would have prevented me from making many mistakes. The book is full of useful advice for the newbie as well as the seasoned collector. I particularly enjoy the many, many specuific examples of watches illustrating the author's advice on what and how to buy collectable watches. These examples are all presented with succinct summaries and in a easily referenced format. The author has written this book in a very straightforward and easily digestible way. It is a pleasure to read and you can learn something new on every page. Again, i only wish the author had written this book about 20 years ago, but I guess we can't have everything. ;-)

I really enjoyed reading this well-written book. It is packed with useful information. I honestly couldn't stop reading it when I got it and it saved me from a lot of potentially bad investments. No matter if you are new to watch collecting or consider yourself an expert, you will probably find something useful in here.Compared to the amount of value you get from avoiding bad investments + the fun reading time, it really is a no-brainer.

I've always been interested in watches and although I have done extensive research on the subject, I found this book to be full of useful advice and little gems of knowledge. The author is clearly a subject matter expert and his insights on watch investment are enlightening.All that being said, I have also found this book to be useful for people who are just curious about watches and approachable to all kind of andiences.
