Worked great on hardened studs
I had to cut down the studs on my rear axle as the ARP ones were too long to use with closed lugs nuts. The was able to go through all ten studs and chamfer down the sawed off end on all ten studs. I used a regular cordless drill set to the lower speed setting (1 instead of 2 for my older Dewalt) and the tool worked its magic on the ends.I'm not sure how many more studs it would have in it, but I know that it went through ten hardened studs with great results and still has material left in it for more work down the road. It's in my drill bit drawer now for use on the next round of all-thread, studs, or bolts I need to chop down and chamfer. The pictures show the first stud and the last stud I used this on as well as what the starting point was for each stud.

Works fine
Does what it is supposed to and easy-to-use. Aggressive bit, a little goes a long way.

Perfect after cutting bolts
I see this to smooth the ends of cut off bolts. I’ve used it on bolts 1/4” and larger. Gives nice smooth finish ready to easily thread on nuts.

Gives a good taper when used properly.
Great tool for tapering the ends of all thread rod, bolts, solid rod, steel & copper pipe (aluminum pipe is tricky). As others have said, DO NOT USE AN IMPACT DRILL!!! A small hand held battery drill is best, start at low speed and press lightly until desired taper is achieved. Hit it straight on, do not walk it around in a circle. If there is a burr on the work piece, say a cut off tip, grind or file it off first. This will keep the tool from giving you an off-center taper. I’ve used mine a dozen times w/o problem, still sharp.

Works great, not sure why I've never had one of these before
I do a lot of DIY and end up cutting bolts and threaded rod and have always hated dressing the ends. This makes fast work of them without leaving sharp edges, plus nuts spin on easy.

Terrible deburring tool
Super rough. Really beats the pipe up. I had to re-cut the pipe and start over it was so bad.

Works nicely.
Just used it to debur 4 long bolts I had to cut down on my trailer. It worked flawlessly.

More pleased than disappointed
I've never used one of these deburrers before, but this particular one showed no visible wear after deburring/chamfering both ends of 8 lengths of Ø6mm stainless steel round bar. I followed the recommendations for speed, used cutting lubricant, and held the bars firmly in an engineers' vise. There is only one contradiction I noticed. The tool works best if the end of a round bar is free of burrs! Start off slow and be prepared to stop and start again if your drill jumps around a bit. I imagine the deburrer would work best if both the bar and tool were mounted in chucks on a lathe, but if I had a lathe, this tool would be unnecessary.
