Fantastic book to enhance note taking ability and get introduced to the slip-box
Book Level : Intermediate.Book introduced Niklas Luhmann, and the secret of his success in writing so many books by him. 58 by him, and 6 by his colleagues after his death from him slip-box notes. A hidden gem from Germany.The crux of the book, the slip-box, is explained in details in first few chapters. Remaining are all additional notes explaining how it works and why it works.It inspired me enough to transform my notes, let's hope I follow through.

A very good take on note taking
This book could be a 5 star if the author had given the explanation of the method too. But, wait a minute, wasn’t the whole book about discovering. Maybe, a 5 star, once i discover my own tool.

Wish I had read it at the beginning of my college career
The book is great because it is simple but still extremely effective. It just makes a lot of sense. And the author does acknowledge that starting this system art the end of a project is not as helpful as starting it at the beginning of college life.

If you are an aspiring writer this book will change your life
Writing doesn't scale on the supply side for writers. What I mean is if you are writing there are only so many words you can type out without ruining the quality of your writings. If your writing is all noise and no insights you are just not doing anything useful.This book might be the answer to how to write more with high-quality insights baked in. Highly recommend it.

Useful - 10% good content and 90% ramblings
The book is very useful, but it does not tell you the steps of Zettelkasten with examples. Its good with theoretical steps and the ‘WHY’ behind this method.But, lacking examples and the overemphasis on justifying the ‘WHY’ has taken away from the incredible benefit this book could bring for most people.

Ahrens Sonke expertly explains the slip box method Zettelkasten and deftly guides us how to use it , why it works and wat we need to understand to get benefitted by this simple and powerful method.

Who should read this?Students who starts their Professional studies, because they can grow in their carer based on the knowledge acquired during studies. Instead of by heart the concepts you can do real learning and show miracles in your profession
