Bird B Gone AMZIB50 Bird Chase Super Sonic Repellant

Works great for deterring starlings...for about three weeks. The internal speaker stopped working after three weeks of being in service on daytime mode. Unit was installed outdoors but under cover. Bird B Gone customer service wouldn't do anything since I got it on Amazon, and Amazon won't take it back without the original packaging.

I have this for over a year and the speaker just stopped working. It has never fallen etc. and the company says the warranty is good for a year. Cost me a pretty penny and it worked beautifully until now. Now I am stuck and this shouldn't be.

I installed this item in our attic about a month ago and the woodpecker issue seems to have stopped. The only strong recommendation I have is to develop a phone app that allows the unit to be controlled remotely so I don’t have to crawl into the attic to adjust (e.g., when we have guests in the bedroom below the part of the attic where the device sits - it’s noisy enough that we need to really turn the volume down when we host).

I set the unit at the desired location. but it was not powerful enough to solve the problem. The crows did not like the sound of the unit and came the next day with the entire tribe to sit on my balcony railing, making an enormous racket. The droppings from the gulls above did not stop at all. Leaving me with the question "what to do" next. My metal roof needs protection against the accidity.
