I was traveling in the Phoenix AZ area and I ran out of aftershave. I checked the store and they only had that overwhelming smelly stuff, Oh no! I checked Amazon and they had Aqua Velva. I love this scent as its fresh, understated and not overwhelming like so many other scents. The size is reasonable so I can fly with it and no problems going through security. Luckily Amazon of Phoenix had it in stock and they delivered it within 2 hours of ordering and at a great price, fantastic!

An antiseptic and astringent after shaving my face, head and body. It has a light classic scent.I put it in a quality finger pump spray mini bottle that can mist it. Obviously you have to use a little common sense and close your eyes and hold your breath for a few seconds.It's a relic from a past era, but it's a good one.Hopefully they never stop manufacturing it.Obviously price wise it would be better if you could source it locally... But hey...

This low cost aftershave is one of my favorites. It has a light fragrance that reminds me of candy, but that wears off in about an hour - which is OK. This is aftershave, not cologne so it won't disturb the fragrance of any expensive cologne that I wear. Comes in a plastic bottle about the size of a bar of soap. It's perfect for the gym bag too.

I bought into the marketing hype because this thing said it had vitamins in it, and there may be something to the hype. Background: I love Aqua Velva original but it's too expensive around here ($8-10 a bottle!? Five years ago it was $3!), so I went with things like Brut and Pinaud gor a while. Good choices but I finally came back to Aqua Velva. I saw this variant that touted vitamins: ever the curious man I bought it on a whim.Wow!The same day feel is similar to Pinaud and better than Brut (so it's pretty decent at keeping your face not irritated as far as alcohol laden aftershave is concerned), but that's not where the magic lays...THE NEXT DAY FEEL!My face felt super smooth the day after while using this. I don't know exactly what ingredient(s) it is but my face feels baby smooth a day later. The older I've gotten the more trouble I've had keeping my face non irritated the day after a shave (even when using aftershave balms and night time moisturizers), but there's something special about this aftershave. I genuinely feel a few years younger just because my face feels so fresh.If you were in the market for an aftershave, may as well give this one a try.

Very strong fragrance which I cut to 50% with vodka. Now it’s perfect. The fragrance is pleasant but was just too strong for me. Put half in another container so I have twice as much now. Vodka is great to reduce intensity and doesn’t add to or change the fragrance. Plastic container is perfect for travel.
