2PCS Retro Vintage Metal French Barrette Clip Hair Clasp Roses Bronze Accessories

I bought about 5 or 6 different barrettes at the same time on Amazon because I needed some quickly but am always nervous that they will be flimsy or not hold as much hair as I need them to. These 2 barrettes are very attractive but not too dressy so work for every-day wear nicely. They are light-weight, but not flimsy and they clasp and hold just fine. The smaller one holds a deceptively large amount of hair back from my face and the larger one I use to sweep all my top/front hair to the back and hold it where it can fall on top of my long hair in the back. Both have had several months of service and are still holding up nicely!

I have been looking everywhere for French barrettes for my extremely thin, fine hair. Although I wanted pewter, these were so pretty, I decided they might still look OK with grey hair. I do wish the seller offered a set of three, with the two small ones and one larger one, but they were reasonably priced so I bought two sets. They seem sturdier than most inexpensive barrettes and they are indeed very pretty. I'm happy they aren't as glitzy as most barrettes seem to be nowadays. They are easy to put around sections of my hair and clasp. I'm happy!Update: I have been wearing these every day, and so far they stay in my hair really well. I wish this company offered this style in a pewter finish as well. I would certainly buy two more sets, in order to get the two small barrettes.

These are lovely but about the size of a barrette so I guess I didn't read the dimensions. They seem sturdy enough to last.

Very pretty and the price was good for what you get. Problem is the Barrett’s has very sharp edges, nothing rounded and smooth, and hair gets caught when you unclip to remove and a few hairs get pulled out because you cant remove them from the clip.

The clips are really cheap looking and kind of rough to tough. It doesn’t look anything like the picture at all.

For the price, I honestly didn't expect to get much other than a cute barrette that would last for a bit. But after examining these little clips I was pleasantly surprised. They weren't a few molded plastic flowers, etc., hot glued / super glued onto a clip. The cute little pieces look like they were welded onto the clip, which will surely last longer than any kind of glue! They're quite adorable and hold my hair very well. And I have kind of thinnish, curly hair. Used to be thick, but old age happened. So I'm happy these are better than expected!

Update on review. Clasp broke on the large one. I purchased 8 months ago. I wore the barette maybe once every 2 weeks only.At first review was this.Very pretty. 4 out of 5 only because the clasp on the large one does not seem as strong as other barrettes I have. However, they were great for the price for sure!

I was a little concerned this barrette, given its type, might not hold my hair and/or rip it a bit. I am so delighted in them! Not only are they really gorgeous barrettes with nice detail, they hold my thick, wavy hair really well. They fit snugly and don't let hairs rip out either. So much better than any boring plastic barrette out there. Fast shipping too. Really nice product!
