Excellent purchase. It seems well made and works perfectly with my 45 year old Minette tripod and brand new Sony RX100V camera. I like the security of the double insurance levers for release and the instant click insertion. It came with an upward protruding detent pin that seemed to serve no function with my cameras, but could potentially scratch their bottoms. It was very easy to remove.

Ordered for my canon to quick release. It’s very sturdy and reasonably priced.

I bought two of these and one fell apart the first time I used it, almost breaking a DSLR. There is a spring in the base plate that is not very secure and can shoot out when unlocking the latch. Make sure you do a quality check before using it. They're good for the price, but take extra caution when using cheap equipment like this!

It is a good value for money but a it is also a very low end both pricewise and qualitywise.the grip is not sturdy, repeatability is not good (the gripping is not the same) all together not something I would recommend.

This is a brilliant Tripod Monopod, solidly build, the base plate lives on my camera permanently, the plate is wide enough for my camera to sit perfectly on a table upright It has a super easy fit / clicking motion onto the Tripod. The release mechanism is fantastic. I've not used the green alignment levels has my tripod as a couple of their own, but if it didn't they would be super useful for ensuring a straight photo. The price was fantastic, delivery was super quick. One of the best camera accessories I have ever purchased. My photos show each part, the camera resting on a table, and my camera hanging off the tripod to show how firmly fixed it is once the locking mechanism is engaged.

For the price this unit offers excellent value.I saw some youtube reviews before buying.the unit is metal and feels very solid. The click and lock system is very easy to use and the lever as a good secondary system to prevent unintended release.I bought 2 units, one for a monopod and one for and older tripod, works well on both.

Good, but leaves the camera unstable on a flat surface when the quick release is left on - meaning I end up taking it off anyway which almost defeats the purpose. Other than that flaw, it does work really well.
